Joanna POV
I was sitting in Ruby's Cafe with Kim enjoying my final day in town until I am off to college with Kim in California and I'm super excited to get away from all the drama, betrayal and broken promises. I shaked my head to clear the negativity away, took my purse and my cup of cofee and follow Kim out the door we were heading towards the car when I bump into somebody I whisper sorry but I froze when I heard a voice call to me
"Anna", he said I continue walking ignoring him but he continue calling my name and when he realized that I'm ignoring his existence he grabs my wrist and I stop and turn around dragging my hand from his, Kim saw this and came to my side
"What do you want??", I asked with a voice so cold o thought around us was going to freeze , I saw him flinch at the tone of my voice but he composed himself and smile
"Hey Anna what's up",Chad asked like we were long last buddies ,Is he joking right now, like right now ,readers is he kidding me at this moment please say I'm going crazy and he didn't ask me what's up??
"First of all never ever call me Anna it's Joanna for you or Miss Clarke only my closet friends, bestfriend and my future Husband can call me that and Second your asking me what's up?? Are you kidding me right now??", I asked the two faced bastard and he looked at me in shock like I told him I grew a extra head with a horn and a tail
"So your telling me that because of that little incident you don't want me to call you Anna ,I thought we were friends??",Chad asked with a cocky smirk on his face and Kim and I just started laughing our butt off if you saw us too you would think we were crazy and ship us off to the crazy house ,I'm still laughing so hard tears started running down my cheek
"Yo..u...Haha...you...*giggles*...think that you and Anna are still friends and cheating on her with her ex best friend is a little incident ", Kim said in between her laughter and she stops all of a sudden and gave him a deathly glare ,I saw his face turn pale at Kim's glare
"I forgot that he was so hilariously Kim",I said wiping the tear stains on my cheeks and I clear my throat and looked in his direction
"Chad I'm done, finish with all of your crap, we are over as friends, as whatever we were ,all of that relationship that we have is broken and it will never ever be the same again, you know why??", i asked rhetorically "Because I know my worth and I know I worth more than what I have been getting from you and I'm putting me first before anything else and its starts now so you can take your negativity and toxic self somewhere else.. Goodbye have a great life with Amy hope she was worth it", I said finally and walked away towards Kim's car ,I heard like someone hit someone behind but I didn't pay any attention I just open the car door got in and shut the door ,closing that chapter of my life and I'm glad I did that because I met ...........
My Future Husband who was waiting patiently for me because he knew my value.. . ❤🥰
