Jealousy

I walked into the great hall with Fred and when I sat down I saw Cedric looking at me he waved and smiled I smiled and waved back.We had starting eating and Cedric wrote me a note on parchment and folded it into a bird and flew over to me. I grabbed it from mid air and opened the note it read:
"Y/n,
I was wondering if you would want to grab some butterbeer from the great hall during study time,after all we both have the same study hall. So what do you say? If so I'll meet you at 2:00 in the great hall!
Sincerely Cedric Diggory"
"Omg who is that from" Hermione said Fred's head shot up "no one" I said I looked at Cedric and nodded my head he smiled and talked to his friends.George took the note out of my hand and read it "Ugh that's from Diggory, stay away from him he's trouble" Fred said peering over George's shoulder.Rolled my eyes and finished eating and said "see you all later bye" and walked away.

FREDS POV:
Y/n walked away and I felt so bad but I turned to Ginny and said "I thought you guys said she liked me?" "She does!" Ginny said as she slammed her hand on the table in frustration. "Somethings been different with her recently I think somethings bothering her" Hermione said. I looked down at my plate and shot a look at Cedric he looked scared,Ron then ruffled my hair and said "it's okay" I swatted him off and left the table to go find y/n. I checked the common room and she wasn't there then I walked up to her dorm and knocked on the door. She answered "I'm so sorry y/n if I said something please don't be mad at me" I said pleading "I'm not mad I'm just tired of the tension in the air because of the ball" She said opening the door allowing me to come in. "I just want the right guy to ask me not some werido from my Herbolgy class." Y/n said sitting on the floor,"yeah I know what you mean I just have a crush on this girl and I don't know how to ask her." I said sitting across from her "who?!?!" She asked putting her hand on my shoulder "no one" i said laughing. She rolled her eyes and we left for class. Through the entire school day I couldn't think about anyone other than y/n and Cedric at study hall together, when study hall came I ran to the great hall and waited for Cedric and y/n to come in. They came in and he put his arm around her shoulder and they laughed it was innocent until he put his hand on her thigh and tried to kiss her she backed away but he didn't stop. So I ran over to them and pushed him off of her she stood behind me "What the hell Diggory!" I yelled "let's go y/n." I said grabbing her hand and walking with her out of the great hall. I walked her all the way to the potions since that has our next class and asked her  "are you okay?" "Yeah thank you Freddie" she said hugging me I hugged her back and calmed her down I could feel her heartbeat through both of our chests.We walked into class and sat in our usual seats mine next to George and hers next to London dulo (a random girl in our class).

Y/NS POV:
Snape walked into class and said "Today we will be talking about the Amortentia potion,does anyone know what it does?" Fred raised his hand "Weasley" Snape pointed to him Fred said "it shows your hearts deepest attraction" "yes very well, we will start with making them than we will smell ours" Snape said facing the shelf he grabbed ingredients and taught us how to make it then we grabbed our ingredients and as I was making it London said "who do you think yours will smell like?" She asked "I don't know." She rolled her eyes and I finished making the potion.I waited for everyone else to finish when Snape said "ms. y/l/n come up here and smell your potion." I stood up with my potion walked to the top of the class and smelled it. "Cinnamon,vanilla and firewood." I said looking at professor snape "very well any other volunteers?" Fred's hand was one of the many raised snape motioned for him to come up to the front of the room,he walked up and smelled than said "coconut,mango and roses" my head shot up that's my perfume scent tropical rose i thought.Fred went to sit back down I turned to him and George but George looked at me as if to tell me that he told me so, what? I mouthed to him George mouthed that's your perfume.I ignored him than waited for them outside of class I walked up to them when they left and pulled George aside than whispered "how did you know that was my perfume" "you'll find out soon" George said walking away.
