tweek woke up with a jolt, his head reeling. he struggled to steady his breathing, it came out in ragged cuts. he reached for his phone, only for his headache to worsen. the screen flashed, leaving a fluorescent blue light to reflect off his sweaty face.
it took a second for his eyes to adjust, but when they did, he almost screamed. over 50 notifications, all from twitter. everyone was freaking out, including the blonde. he dropped the phone after reading around five of the tweets. he held his head in his hands, short fingers digging into his scalp as he gripped at his golden locks.
he closed his eyes and cried. he cried for his safety and others. he was genuinely frightened, though it didn't take much for this to happen. he let go of his head and reached with shaky hands towards his phone. he held it tightly and scrolled through his contacts until he reached the c's. 'craig,' he clicked the name and immediately dialled his number. "come on.. pick up."
the blonde let out a hard breath, but after a couple of rings, the noirette had answered. "..." the only thing being transmitted across the line was the quiet sniffles and sharp inhales of tweek.
"..tweek?" the tired rasp of his voice caught tweek off-guard after being exposed to such prolonged silence. "what is it this time.." craig's yawn could be heard, though as quiet as it was, to tweek it was heard like an avalanche.
"...have you checked twitter recently?" tweek held in a yell, inhaling quickly.
"no." craig answered simply.

"it's gonna be the purge craig!" tweek couldn't hold it in any longer, tears streamed down his face, leaving his blue eyes vibrant against his red face. his breathing shook as he spoke on and on about the election.
"w-we're gonna die..." the blonde concluded.
"tweek.."
"we live in south park." craig's hard sigh could be heard from across the line.
"i know that!" tweek exclaimed. "but—"
"no, calm down.. i'm on my way."
