||POPEE'S POV||

He laid his back In the sand as he fidgeted with his fingers, It had been awhile since he checked up on everyone Including Kedamono well I guess you could say he was worried a bit about his well being but he tried avoiding the guilt In his stomach and got up to only hear a like croak behind him he was slightly confused since he saw nothing "W -" He paused his sentence realizing that It was only the annoying frog Kedamono loved so much he let out a light sigh as the Jealously hit him "W - What's so good about you anyways?" He said In a mumble as he bent down to look at the frog "I mean you don't really do anything, It's not like you can fly or anything." He said with a light hint of sarcasm "I -" He paused and glanced around to make sure nobody was looking or anything "I like Kedamono and I Atleast try to show him and you'll Just hop around and steal all of his love, Your not even special or anything your some stupid pet." He said finally admitting how he felt, It felt good finally being able to Just talk about his feelings It was like a weight was lifted off his back but his sudden happiness was Instantly destroyed when he heard a light snap behind him he turned around seeing Kedamono standing there shocked "I - Uh hey." He said trying hold back his anxiety Kedamono didn't even try to respond or anything he just quickly hugged Popee "I -" He was a bit confused but he didn't let that ruin a perfectly good hug It was almost like It was going on for hours It was Just unexplainable "Thanks." He mumbled glancing over to where the frog was but Unfortunately his therapy buddy was gone maybe that was his whole plan after all "How much did you hear?" He asked with a light tone of embarrassment In his voice "All of It you dork." Kedamono said with a light giggle

|KEDAMONO'S POV|

After he heard Popee scream at him he felt somewhat guilty I mean he was planning on Completely running away but he needed to check on Popee before he left, He grabbed the necessary Items before running to the Sidewalk to call a Uber luckily It didn't talk long so he arrived at Circus basically seeing nothing until he heard the light cries of he assumed to be his only real friend Popee "Hello?" He called out as he examined the empty tents until he saw Popee ball up hugging the only piece of clothing he left which was a old sweater "Popee, are you ok?" I asked as I bent down trying to comfort him Unfortunately Popee couldn't really talk he was choked on tears "I - I'm sorry I - I don't know what I was thinking." I said In a mumble as he clenched Popee's shirt he finally responded with a light "It's alright." He was happy that Popee wasn't mad at him or anything "So - What were you talking about on the phone? You kinda broke up a bit." He said as he tried remembering the phone call they had "It was nothing." He said taking a deep Inhale he seemed a bit comforted by him sitting by him "Well I'll get the rest of my stuff later." I said before I continued to lay his head on Popee's shoulder "I left because I was scared, I mean I'm scared about alot of things really I'm scared of what people think of me I'm pretty scared of what you think of me - I mean I didn't know If you'd accept me really so I kept everything a secret and Eventually I Just couldn't take It anymore." I said letting out a sigh as I glanced over to Popee he didn't react for a bit until he finally thought of something "Well you can tell me anything I'm obviously gonna accept you." He said with a light chuckle before pausing "Well what do you mean about accepting you though? I mean what Is It that you didn't wanna tell me?" He croaked out as he wiped the dried tears off of his face, I couldn't even think honestly so he decided to Just not say anything which hopefully Popee would understand he Just needed a moment to Enjoy being back.
