"I mean, it's just a harmless little prank, okay? Don't think too much about it," Sayuri patted your shoulder.

"But it's wrong. We shouldn't be using his number this way," you reasoned.

"Oh please, honey. His number's been circulating for weeks. He won't even be surprised if he gets messages from unknown numbers anymore. Besides, you should have his number by now. How do you not have it?"

"We never really had the need to exchange numbers. We mostly just hung out at college, so.... yeah.... I'm just another girl to him. Even if I text him, I'll only be one of the other hundreds of girls he chats with."

"That's what you're going for, right? Play around with him a little, like he always does with the others. Like what he did with you. Seriously? Don't tell me you're going to just forget him stringing you along for an entire month. Bitch, you even cancelled plans with me sometimes."

"Sometimes," you repeated with a guilty smile.

She was right, though. He'd always lingered in the back of your mind, a constant phantom who tortured you. He'd suddenly become close to you and nothing had mattered except him. You'd already been crushing on him, hard, but he made you fall in love. And you hated him for it, because the minute you confessed, he left. And never came back.

He was a player, you knew. And he really needed a taste of his own medicine. You unlocked your phone and scrolled though your contacts to the one you had just saved.

You
Hey, you like bacon?

You completely let loose on text. That's why you were hesitant in the first place. The real you was shy and a bit reserved. The virtual you .... well, you'll see.

💔:
Yeah, why?

And who are you?

You:
You don't need to know 😉

And since you like bacon...

"What happened?"

"He blocked me."
