Life and Death
As a child should know,
I have known them all.
I have seen people mourning
For their loved once whome
They not get to see anymore.

I have seen live happy souls
To turn in corpse and
Burnt into ash.

I too cried-
I too feel the grief_
I knew life to be a thornfull bed.
I have bleed,I have screamed in pain.

I lost her, friend of mine,
A weak, frail, small, black girl.
Born with curse in blood,
She never had grown much.

I've seen her by the river on sandy bed.
Playing, staggering, smiling with
Death hanging o'er her head.

Eleven days it takes till I know she is no more .
Thought I stayed only few yeards afar,
Burdened with life and books too many
To give me any space.

Happy was she with her carefree joy .
Her black freckle eyes
With her melancholic grace
Make my head so heavy to lift it up.

Still happy was she to die
When beauty had not failed her yet,
With autumnal leaves falling on her ash -
Her beloved river carrying her bones
Along with limitless joy she had,
And leave all the earthly pain to me.

I get to live, I get to live, with
Burden, pain, sorrow of mortal birth.
I shall sing her name with the river_
I shall sing the rest till I too washed away.

(I wrote this poetry on death of my classmates whome I lost few years back. She didn't survive thalassemia and died at age 16 . I am not very good at writing poetry as you see but this poem is my favorite and it's going to be the title poetry of my 10 poem collection.)
(So far I don't get any reader(it shows I have 7reader)what happens here is -whenever I tried to change my cover of the collection I am accidentally viewing it as reader, well I change it thought
