Y/n dried her face with the hem of her PE shirt. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror and made her way slowly to the bathroom door, the idea of going back to her class a little more appealing than before.

As she left the bathroom behind her, she found herself face to face with someone else's neck. Her eyes slowly drifted up, meeting a pair of tired looking, purple eyes.

"Uhm, hi?"

Why did that come out as a question, his stare kind of makes me nervous.

"Were you crying?" the boy asked, his hand playing softly with the wild, purple tufts of hair that surrounded his face.

"Nice to meet you too" Y/n huffed. She walked past him, not planning on answering him. She had no idea who he was, he actually seemed rather creepy. Y/n looked behind her briefly and noticed that the boy was following her close behind, a small smile on his face.

"Shinso Hitoshi"

"What?"

"That's my name, Shinso Hitoshi"

Y/n stopped her brisk walk towards the class and turned towards him.

"L/n Y/n, that's me" she gave him a quick smile. He looked Y/n over and gave off a small laugh as he traced her puffy eye bags with his thumbs, wiping away the last traces of tears. Y/n stood still, unsure as to what she should do in this situation, her face heating up at the weird contact she was having with this stranger.

"I messed up my Quirk Apprehension Test" she explained, not wanting to get in to detail. Shinso's eyes sparkled for a second, curiosity filling his mind.

"What did you do?" he asked. Y/n had started walking once again towards her class, knowing they'd be back soon anyway. Shinso kept up with her, now walking side by side.

"Let's just say my quirk isn't exactly the most... hero-like" she said, the last part of her sentence almost whispered. She wasn't proud about her ability. Shinso let a comforting smile fall on his face, sympathizing easily with her. He nudged her slightly in the shoulder so she looked up at the serene face he had and knew she wouldn't have to feel ashamed of her quirk with him.

"Trust me, I know how you feel"

By now they had gotten in front of the door of class 1-A and Y/n could hear the footsteps of her classmates coming back to class.

"If what you're saying is true, I'd love to get to know you more. Here" Y/n handed him her phone, a confused look washing over Shinso's face.

"Put in your number" she stated, nodding with her head, a small smile adorning her face. Shinso unlocked the phone and typed in the digits. He handed back the mobile as he saved it.

"Thank you, I'll text you later so you can save my number" Y/n said and did a quick bow. As Shinso waved, ready to leave, Bakugo came round the corner, closely followed by the rest of the students of class 1-A. He eyed the purple haired boy up and down with a raised eyebrow. His face read 'anger' all over it as he pointed at him and Y/n.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE YOU DOING" he shouted, storming over. He grabbed Y/n's arm and started dragging her in to class.

"WE DO NOT SIMP FOR THE ENEMY"

Bakugo shut the door behind him angrily, even though it would be opened once again in a few seconds as everyone else was still outside. Uraraka, who had witnessed whatever had just gone on, bowed at Shinso and apologized for Bakugo's behaviour. Shinso waved it off and left.

Was that her boyfriend?

Todoroki watched the retreating figure with the corner of his eye before sighing and going back in to class. There he noticed a rather panicked Y/n frantically looking around the room.
