My birth name is Thomasina but Everyone came to call me Tommi. It was short, easy to remember for I was having trouble remembering anything!

I became a skilled mimic. What no one understood, for several years, was that the mimicry were   the people I believed I was!

In addition I saw people who were never seen! My family came to think I was mentally gifted because the people I "saw" always appeared minutes later!

By my twelfth birthday, however, everyone knew there was something seriously wrong with me. I would twitch uncontrollably and the neighborhood children often called me "spastic."

I withdrew, staying shut up in the house for days at a time. I couldn't think straight, couldn't concentrate long enough theo draw a logical conclusion, on anything!

I submitted to treatment when I was 13.
