I'm the one the gates of the state Hospitals closed behind but they weren't home.

I'm the one who was driven to Kill because the mental health care system let me down.

I was suffocating outside the Dome while you walked past Going about your affairs.

I'm the one to whom no one Extended a helping hand.

Where were you when
I needed you?

Were you standing by?
Watching, not offering?

Assisting the doctors by giving Electro-shock treatments or Lobotomies?

Committing me to strait-jackets And little, white rooms?
