Cobra Kai: Legacy

        A young boy in the 80's by the name of James was playing Double Dragon on the Nintendo system. The boy had a bruise on the side of his left cheek. The boy's father Matthew did not believe in violence because he was not like his brother. Matthew decided to take advice from his brother and get the boy signed up for karate classes. Matthew and his son James arrived to the Cobra Kai Dojo and there they saw the sensei of the class, who was a man by the name of John Kreese. When they went to the office of Mr. Kreese Matthew told him that his son was being bullied by several kids. Kreese said the following words to Matthew: "I see that you care for your son and I can help you solve his problem. When I'm done training him he will not only stand up for himself, but he will be ready for any type of threat that comes his way."

      Kreese then went over to James and told him that his uncle mentioned to him that Jim liked to play fighting video games like Kung Fu and Double Dragon. Then Kreese said to James: "Don't worry James, I will teach you to defend yourself against other people like the characters from your video games do. You will become stronger and tougher. Just remember that the heroic characters from your videogames decide to stand up and fight against their enemies because when it comes down to it, it is either them or you. In here you will learn to show no mercy to your enemies and you will have my full support when you enforce your will upon them James. You will be brave like your gaming idols and when it is all said and done no one will dare to mess with you in the real world."

         The boy James went to learn karate through the tough lessons of sensei Kreese and in the aftermath he got revenge against his bullies. One of the people that was tormenting James was a teacher that was molesting him. James beat the teacher up when he tried to molest him again and he had the approval of Kreese to do so. James was glad that his uncle had recommended Mr. Kreese to be his sensei. His uncle was an old war buddy of Mr. Kreese and his name was Terry Silver.
