Norton, 7 years old

"Nonton!"

"It's Norton."

"Non non!"

"*sigh*, why did I agreed to babysit you again?"

You laughed while clapped your hands. Norton stared at your 3 years old body before let out a sigh again.

His mother went out to buy groceries and left you with him alone. Meanwhile your parents weren't home at that time because they had to go somewhere far for a week. They requested their neighbours which is Norton and his family to take care of you for awhile.

"Non non!"

"It's Norton, (y/n)"

He was just 7 years old at that time and he found you very annoying. But he can't do anything about it.

Norton, 12 years old

"Non non, wait for me.."

"Go home, (y/n). There's no need to follow me around."

"But I don't have anyone at home."

"Where's your parents?"

"At work."

"Oh really? I still don't care. So go home and leave me alone."

Norton walked away from you fast without looking back. He wanted to sneak a peak at a mine that people always talk about. They said there's so many treasure that you can found there and Norton was eager to go there. He can't waste his time with you.

"Non no- Ouch!"

You accidentally tripped yourself while chasing Norton. You couldn't catch up his big steps so you ran behind him. But life is shit so you tripped. You started to let out a sob before cried loudly.

Norton who heard you cried turned his back and saw you on the ground. He took a deep breath before walked towards you.

"What did I tell you just now? I said not to follow me right?"

"B- but.. I am lonely.. No one want to play with me.."

Norton let out a sigh and picked you up.

"Can you walk?"

"Hmm.."

"Here, hold my hand so you don't get lost."

You looked at Norton and giggled happily before grabbed his hand.

"Stop laughing. You look ugly with the tears."

"Meanie."

Norton, 24 years old

Everything was falling.

The rocks.

The mines.

And he was trapped in the ruins of mine.

He should listen to you. He suddenly remembered the argument he had with you last few days.

"Norton, don't do it."

"You can't stop me, (y/n)!"

"Why are you so stubborn?! It's too dangerous!"

"I'll go there with my team. There's nothing to worry about."

"I have a bad feeling about this, Norton. Please-"

"I'm still going. I can be rich if I'll find treasures there! What do you understand about them? Nothing. So get away from me."

"Norton!"

He started to cry when he remembered you. You always annoyed him, followed him everywhere and acted like you're the older one.

He hated it.

"Heh, I might just die here too."

Norton slowly closed his eyes as his consciousness faded away.

His eyes wide awake when he heard his name. He knew this voice. It's yours. Why you're here?

Ah, you were searching for him.

"NORTON!"

He could tell that you were on the edge of cry based on your crack voice. He mustered all his energy that left in him and shouted your name.

"(Y/N)!"

You quickly noticed his voice and went to search him.

"Hold on, I'm taking you out from there! Don't you dare close your fucking eyes or I'll kill you!"

He chuckled when he heard you cursed.

Maybe you weren't bad as he thought.

Norton, now

If only he confess his true feelings to you, maybe he wouldn't feel so hurt right now.

It's all his fault anyways. He didn't suprised if you suddenly said you hate him one day.

He kept pushing you away eventhough you tried your best to support him.

He wouldn't be surprised if you left him.

You kept staying with him even after the mine accident. Trying your best to cheer up his gloomy self everyday. He appreciated that.

But if only he were honest with his feelings.

He could be the happiest man ever.

But it's all a dream.

Because ...

You already with someone else.

Norton watched from the far as you walked into Aesop's room. Your smile is so beautiful that he keep dreaming about it.

But too bad, it wasn't for him.

You already with Aesop. He knew that he was never meant for you.

Norton can only watch you from far away, praying that you find your happiness with Aesop. But at the same time, he pray that one day you will look at him just like you look at Aesop.

"I am stupid."

Norton walked away from Aesop's bedroom as he heard your laugh from inside.

If only he can turn back the time.

He'll definitely say it.

How much he loves you since you two were kids. He love you very much that it hurts him.
