"Eli, are you alright?" You asked while running away from the hunter.

"Yeah, thanks for saving me!" the man who was also running besides you smiled. "Also, thank you for the body block just now." he continued, making you chuckled.

"Don't thank me yet. Save it after we win this match! Right now, we need to- RUUUUN!" You grabbed Eli's hand when you realised Jack the Ripper chasing you two in his fog mode.

The first moment when we meet?

You sneaked behind the owl man before shouted "WOAH!" right at his ears. Eli turned his back quickly and saw you laughed at his suprised face.

"(Y/n), you scared me! It's midnight. Please stop doing that." Eli sighed and pouted a little when he saw your teasing smile.

"Why? You're afraid some ghost will come out?"

"We already have ghosts in this manor. They're keep chasing us in match so no, I'm not afraid."

"Heh, yeah right!"

"Eli, I'm dying-"

"(Y/n), you only took a small hit from the hunter.."

"I'm dying!"

"There's only a graze at your cheek.."

"Fine, I'll carry you on my back. But don't blame me if I throw you at the hunter."

"Like you always did to Brooke? You animal abuse."

"(Y/n), why did you put a red rose on Brooke?"

"It's cute. Here, you should take one too!"

Eli sighed but his hand still reached for the red rose. He stared at the rose before looked up to you, sweating a little bit.

"Where did you get this rose, (Y/n)?"

"Uhhh-"

"(Y/n)?"

"Um- Oh, Naib is calling me! Bye Eli!"

"Hey, there's no one here! Come back! You steal this from Mary's garden, right?!"

"I don't know what are you talking about~!"

You quickly ran away from him and hide in your room. You knew Eli will start to nag if you stay any longer.

Meanwhile...

Eli was standing alone at the same place while staring at the red rose. He chuckled a bit before covers his face.

"Stupid (Y/n)..."

I treasure them all

You was lying on the grass while moon gazing with Eli. He sat besides you and pet Brooke before spoke up.

"When we get out from here, what will you do, (Y/n)?"

You turned to him and smiled. "I will find a job and earn some money! Then, I'm gonna find a hamdsome guy to marry! How about you?"

Eli laughed before he slowly looked at the moon. His face were suddenly turned gloomy but he managed to cover it with a smile.

"I'm getting married."

A very painful smile.

Wherever you are

"We're finally getting out from here, Eli!"

"Yes!"

You watched from your seat with a smile. The white coat on Eli doesn't seems to show his eagerness to marry but he still kept his smile on the isle.

"I do."

You clapped your hand together and gave him a thumb up when you saw him glancing at you.

At the same time, everyone was cheering for him and shouting congratulation at the newlyweds.

You quietly took your presence from there and walked to a garden near the church. You looked up to the sky, still smiling.

But you knew you was crying.

You cried silently while the people inside the church cheered.

"Ah.. It's raining.."

You said to yourself before started to scream.

"I love you. I always love you since we're meet at the manor. I love you, Eli!"

The tears won't stop anymore.

Without your knowing, Eli who was hiding behind a pillar near the garden heard everything and he was also crying.

He clutched his chest where his heart is and gritted his teeth.
