He reached to class before her. She arrived, took her seat and the teacher entered the class. Class of “Humanity" and today their topic of discussion was “Human rights,” after greeting them, the teacher started delivering his lecture. He explained Human rights, then he went on the relationship between rights and religion.

“Religion and Human rights have a close connection. In every religion, there are rights for both males and females but Islam gives a wide range of rights for both male and female. Every religion want peace and tolerance.” He took a deep exhale then he co-relate Islam.

“Islam is based on equity means everyone should get as much right as he/she required. Islam gives full protection to women and heaven is placed in the footsteps of the mother. In short, Islam is a complete manual of life.”

He explained the Quran and Hadith, “ The Quran states that all humans are the descendants of one man Adam and are therefore brothers to one another. In Islam human right is based on Quran and Hadith. Islam is a very peaceful, dignified and tolerated religion. Here everyone shall be respected whatever he/she is regardless of there race, gender, colour, sex, religion, ethnicity, language, culture, customs, traditions and norms. And there shall be no concept of superior and inferior. Here everyone will stand in a one row for prayers.” As the teacher finished, he gave a peaceful smile, “I came out from the topic to somewhere else.” But all the students were Muslims as well as the teacher too except Harry. So they won’t mind it.

Harry was badly attracted to his lecture, he wanted to know more about Islam. He decided that he will talk to Eltifat. As the class ended, he was searching for her, he walked here and there but she was nowhere. At last, he sat on the chair in the class and keep engaging himself in studying the book of humanity. He felt someone’s footsteps. As he looked back, it was Eltifat. “So are you waiting for me? She asked.

“Yes,” he answered unintentionally.

“And I know why,” she answered and seated on the chair next to him. She had the same book in her lap.

“Are you tired?” she asked.

“A lot,” he answered in a deep thought.

After a second he explained, “I don’t have anyone in this world. I don’t differentiate between right and wrong.” He helplessly said. “Do you know, why we exist?” He asked in a serious tone.

“Why the sun shines daily, arises in the morning, crosses the sky and down at night? Why the earth, sky, moon and all the planets exist?” She asked in the same tone. “These all blessings are created to serve humans so now you should find the reason for your existence?”

He felt his mind a little weighted, his heart a little empty. He was quiet. Then he asked her, he want peace of mind and soul.

“Do you want the solution of your problems?” she asked and he nodded. He gave him that mysterious book and asked him to read it. “Its the first solution of your all problems.”

He held the book like ordinary books, but that was not an ordinary book. It was Quran, the universal book.  Se explained to him that he will get peace in reading the Quran and praying. She taught him how to pray. Their conversation ended.

As he reached home. He tried to pray the prayer but he didn’t. His heart or mind were like not willing to do it, he was unable to pray. Then he opened the Quran. He read a verse.

"[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -"
(Al-Mulk 67: Verse 2)

He took a lot of time in searching its meaning and explanation but he did it. “why here death is used before life?” He thought. He was in eager to read more. It seems like a baby get his favourite toy. He flipped some pages and read another verse.

"Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture."

(Aal-i-Imraan 3: Verse 184).

He searched about Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and read all history in about two hours. He was inspired by Islam and Quran. But in a flash he heard the voice of Azan. He stood up and tried to pray the prayer. He was trying again and again but it was all in vain. He couldn’t sleep because he wanted to know why he was failed in praying? He waited for the morning to discuss this with Eltifat.

As he went to the university, she was standing in the balcony. He ran towards her. Without any greeting, he asked, “I am unable to pray the prayer. Is it okay?”

“Yes, of course. It’s okay. If you don’t want to pray, it’s alright.” She answered in a serious tone.

He felt as light as a  prisoner is set free. “Okay. I am reading the Quran. But I am just unable to pray. Isn't it compulsory to pray the prayer?” He asked.

“No, it’s not compulsory,” she answered.

“Does it matter if I am not praying?” he repeated unbelievably.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s up to you,” she spoke gently.

“Alright,” he smiled gently. But she continued,” if you don’t pray the prayer, don’t prostrate to Allah, it doesn’t matter. The angels are praying the whole day. And there is no part of the sky where the angel doesn’t exist. Do you know the size of an angel! When once Prophet (SAW) looked back at the call of Hazrat Jibrail (AS). Our Prophet (SAW) was unable to see the sky behind his back. His height is up to the width of the sky. This is the size of an angel. Seventy thousands angel are moving around Kabha daily. When an angel moved once around Kabha, its turn won’t come till last day (Day of recompense).  Allah has a lot of creatures who worship. So if you don’t pray the prayer, does it matters?”
He was still as if he saw a ghost in his life. He found the true meaning of life today. He spoke gently.

لا الہ الا اللہ محمد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم

(There is non-worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (SAW) is the messenger of Allah).

He embraced Islam. Finally, he knew why he exist!
