Draco was too busy thinking to listen to his Professor, in his last class.
The only thing that was preoccupying his mind at the very moment, were how to start his first conversation, not fight, conversation, with Potter.
And not just any kind of conversation, no, he was gonna be apologizing and asking him to be friends. Apologizing. Draco had never apologized, and meant it, to someone before. He had been taught from an early age to never show mercy towards anyone, no matter who they were.
How was he gonna ask Potter to be friends, anway? The bloke had already rejected him once.
Well, that was only cause he had insulted Weasley.
But how was he gonna start the conversation?
He couldn't just walk up to Potter out of nowhere and be like, "Hi, you know me, I'm Draco Malfoy. I'm the boy who's been pushing you around in the halls and picking on you for the past 6 years, but actually i'm just a closeted gay who wants to build up a friendship and then become lovers."
Draco almost chuckled out loud, in the middle of class, because of that thought.
Before the blonde Slytherin could think any more of it, the bell rang.
He sprung up from his seat, making Pansy raise an eyebrow.
"Where are you going?" She asked, as her best friend packed his quill, notes and other school supplies, unbelievably fast.
Draco smirked at her for a quick second. "Making Potter my friend." Was all he said before leaving the classroom.
The black haired girl watched as Draco ran, a little smile playing upon her lips.

Potter always got to dinner just before his two best friends. He was one of the few Gryffindors who would arrive this early, meaning he would be sitting alone right about now. That gave Draco just enough time to say he wanted to talk to him later, without Potter's friends knowing.
Draco pressed his lips into a thin line, opening the great halls doors, and darting his eyes straight to the Gryffindor table. He grinned. Potter was sitting alone.
The black haired boy was looking towards the Hufflepuff table, where his beloved girlfriend happened to be saying goodbye to her best friend. Draco sighed at that.
Without any sort of warning, Draco picked up a fast pace, and made his way towards the boy.
Harry turned, thinking it was either Hermione or Ron, or both, he could see in the corner of his eye. But his green eyes widened with curiosity when he saw the face of his arch enemy speed walking over to him.
Malfoy took a deep breath. "Meet me at the room of requirements at 9pm, sharp."
"Malfoy wha-" Before Harry could get to respond, the Slytherin was already speed walking back to the green table at the other side of the hall.
Harry shook his head. What the bloody hell was that?
When Hermione and Ron finally did arrive, Harry was being rather quiet. He couldn't help but think about what the other boy wanted from him. Maybe it was a trap and wanted to hex Harry?
He stared at the blond boy throughout the whole dinner. At times Malfoy would look back at Harry, but quickly look away again.
Harry thought about not going, but then ended up thinking he should. His curiosity got the best of him.
