*Third person p.o.v*
Harry was still laying in his bed when Hermione and Ron finished classes.
When he'd come back from the forest, full of anger, most of it caused by his ex-girlfriend but also some caused by his Slytherin friend, Ron had almost asked Harry if he wanted them to skip classes with him, but Hermione had stopped him mid-sentence.
'We will most likely just end up in an argument with him as well. He's too mad for any company, so no matter who it is he'll get pissed off.. And I know Harry needs someone, so it would be the best if we leave him to cool down. Alone.' Hermione had told her best friend.
Ron had thought about it for a couple of seconds, before agreeing.
Harry had then seemed to have calmed down when they had come back.
"Harry?" Hermione asked softly, knocking on the dorm her best friends shared with three other boys.
Some sudden movements could be heard from the other side of the door, probably cause Harry was startled at the voice. "Hermione?"
Hermione and Ron exchanged looks when their best friends voice came out raspy. "Can we come in, Harry?" The girl asked, her voice still being low and careful.
Some more movement and footsteps could be heard before Harry answered. "O-Okay."
Ron grabbed the handle, the same time as Hermione, causing both of them to blush.
"You go in first.." Ron said awkwardly, letting go.
Hermione nodded, trying to forget what just happened and focus on Harry instead.
When they entered the dorm, Hermione immediately spotted Harry's big red eyes, looking at them. Harry smiled nervously and scratched the back of his neck.
"Have you been crying?" Hermione quickly sat down next to Harry, placing both her hands on each side of his face, studying his eyes.
Harry smiled politely, grabbing both her hands and slowly letting them fall into his lap as he caressed them. "No." He spoke as softly as her.
"Harry, that's obviously a lie, have you seen yourself?" She asked, making sure to have direct eye contact with him.
"Yeah, you look awful, mate." Ron added.
Hermione turned around as Harry moved to the side so both of them could see Ron. The two best friends glared.
Ron shut his mouth, deciding not to say anything else. Something like this was also normally something Hermione took care of, and she was good at it. Ron.. Not so much.
Hermione shook her head, turning back to Harry. "It doesn't matter if you've cried or not." She said, causing Harry to nod. "We just wanted to check up on you before we went to dinner."
Harry tilted his head.
"Do you want to join us?"
"No, i'm alright thank you." Harry gave her another smile, this time it being really obvious that it was fake.
Hermione had already figured out that this was all just a facade that Harry was holding up, keeping them away from seeing how hurt he actually was.
Harry always did this. He'd never let anyone see him crying. If someone did see him cry, it was an accident. Like the time Sirius Black died.
"Are you sure?" The bushy brown-haired girl asked, not wanting to leave Harry out of her sight without him insisting on it.
"A 100 procent sure."
