3rd Person POV
There sat Nagito Komaeda, A 19 year old male with extraordinary luck, but a super ordinary job. It's around 7:40 AM. Nagito's job starts at 8:00 AM. His job is about two blocks away from where he sat. Lucky for him? Well of course it is, that's just natural for him. Its November 2nd, and the snow lays like a blanket on the streets of New York City. It was a nice part of the city where he lived, everyone was kind, and the streets usually, and did, smell of cinnamon and coffee. He was sitting in a popularly visualized scene: A park bench, with a lamp post on one side and a modern garbage can on the other.

Komaeda's POV

Wow, even though its the beginning of November, it's still snowing. No, let me rephrase that. Its only the 2nd of November, and its snowing as if it were Christmas week. As much as I like the snow, I hate it as well. It reminds me of when I was a child, and when my parents were still alive. Now don't get me wrong, I truly loved my parents when they were alive! It's just that one time, my mother had said, "Wow,Nagito! That white hair of yours really blends into the snow! Its almost as if we could lose you if we were to look away!" And of course, that is what happened. It nearly took them half an hour to find me, only to realize I'd ran towards a park. But what is a kid supposed to do when they see a park!? Stay still?! Maybe an older child, but hey, after all, I was four. Well, I cant keep sitting around like this, I'll be late for work...! Again...!
...
For the 8th time...!

3rd Person POV
Now, we go to where Hajime is. His area had connected to Nagito's, only being right of where it was. For areas so close, you would think they'd be similar, right? No, that's wrong. Unlike Nagito's sweet and comforting area, Hajime's was the total opposite. Nobody cared who you were, or how you felt. It was a cold surrounding, and always lingered of pure hatred and rotten garbage. Still, Hajime needed somewhere to live. It was a area that was high in crime. From a small theft to what was uncommon but still happened, murder. But for a place so run down and disgusting, the apartments managed to be pretty kept in shape. Well, at least Hajime and his roommate, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, kept theirs clean.

Hajime's POV
"Hey! Hajime! Get your lazy ass the fuck up!", I loudly heard my roommate, Fuyuhiko, yell. "Yeah, thanks!", I sleepily replied.
...
Oh right, I have an interview today at 8! What time even is it?
...
Oh, its 7:40.
...
7:40?! I'll hardly have any time! Not even to mention I have to still get dressed, and walk to the other side of town! I'm not worrying about a shower, one last night was ok, right?! To make things easy, I'll throw on a white collared shirt , some plain pants, and a..uhhh.. green tie! I get up out of bed, and go straight to my dresser to grab the clothes I wanted. I get a quick glance out the window and see it's snowing. ... Snowing?! I swear it was a decently warm temperature last week! Oh well, good thing I already bought a coat. At least I have something, that's always better than nothing, right? Oh right, boots too! I quickly got dressed, brushed my teeth, and didn't bother with my hair. It always spiked out every which way, anyways. I slid on my new coat, and put on the same boots from a year ago. I didn't go out much anyways. It was far too cold last year. "Ok, I'll be leaving now!", I said to Fuyuhiko, and his girlfriend, Peko. "You're really leaving? Not that I care, but you didn't even eat?", replied Fuyuhiko. "Oh, I'll just stop somewhere on my way back!" I couldn't bother to be any later than I might already be. Who knows who I'll run into around here.
...
Them. I ran into them. The most feared gang around here. Wow, I never knew they were all this tall in person.
"Hey, kid, come here. I want to have a small talk with you."
