Hajime's POV
I know they're the most known gang, but I surely didn't think *this* much would happen to *me*. I suddenly realized exactly how much had happened. My right arm is what I am assuming is broken. My left arm is bruised a lot, doesn't look too bad. Wow, for a $70 coat, it sure ripped easily. My legs seem alright, pretty wobbly, though. I can feel my head pounding, worse than it ever has. I have no idea what happened to it, though. Everything is blurry, and it hurts to move. I tried to move up out of the alleyway the brought me- No, forced me into. I fell as soon as I tried to move though. If I try hard enough, I can still make it to my interview! Even if its hard to see....and everything is swirling...I can...still..make....i..t....

Komaeda's POV
Wow, despite my detour, I'll probably still be late! I only have two more chances before I get fired! How did I almost forget?! I was supposed to give somebody an interview today, too! I feel so embarrassed! They're probably there thinking of how bad of an employee I am! Not that they'd be wrong, but I wanted to make at least one good first impression! I memorized it, despite my sickness! That's really hard to do, you know!

Oh my, how did I get here? I'm close to the dark side of the city! I really don't want to get involved in anything here, especially with my luck. If anyone were to see me running past these alleyways, it really wouldn't end well! Run faster? Sure, I'll do that!

*THUD*
The sound was enough to make me flinch, and of course with my worthless luck, I trip and fall. I naturally look in the direction to see...

"O-Oh my god!" I gasped.

There lied a boy that seemed about my age, head covered in blood, arms and legs bruised, clothing torn, collapsed on the ground. I couldn't help but to run over to him. What the hell happened to this poor guy? A strange rush of rage and sorrow over came me. Why do I feel this way? He's a total stranger! I don't even know his name! I haven't even met him! Why- what-how? I know this much: I can't leave him here to suffer. So what do I do? Take him to my apartment? Call into work? See if I can do anything without going to the hospital? Yeah, that works. I manage to pick him up, being honestly surprised by either my strength or how light he is? Either way, I take off my coat and lie it over him. Good thing I layered up! I don't see anything that I think belongs to him? Well, this would probably be my best chance to leave, before anybody sees me? Yes, I'll stick with that.

"Don't worry, I wont let anything happen to you again. I don't know you yet, but you're stuck with me. I don't care about your attitude."
