Bella's POV:

Mattia and I woke up early this morning so that he could go to school today, I ignored the slight sadness I was feeling knowing that he wouldn't be here with me throughout the day; but I knew that school was way too important for him to miss. I was currently making waffles for us to eat while he got ready upstairs. I plopped them all onto a plate before turning off the waffle iron and moving over to the sink to start washing up. A couple moments later, I felt two strong arms wrap around me instantly triggering the butterflies in my stomach. He left a sweet kiss on my temple before dropping his head down so that it rested on my right shoulder.

'Good morning beautiful' he whispered tightening his grip on me.

'Good morning' I blushed turning around so that he could lean down and connect our lips.

'How'd you sleep?' he asked tucking my hair behind my ear. I shrugged my shoulders giving him an honest answer.

'I made you some waffles' I quickly changed the subject before he could start worrying about me again.

'Thank you princess' he kissed me again before walking over to eat a little before he left. I made myself an iced coffee before sitting down next to him.

We talked a little as he ate sneaking in kisses as the conversation flowed. He stood up taking his plate to sink before grabbing his bag and car keys and waltzing over to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist rocking me back and forth, making me smile like a little girl with her favorite candy.

'Do you have to goooo' I whined dragging out the 'o' and pouting hoping to guilt trip him into staying.

'I'll be back right after soccer practice tonight' he comforted still rocking me. I nodded before standing on my tip toes and giving him a slow, sweet kiss.

'Text me if you need anything okay? I'll see you later' he gave me one last peck before tapping my ass and turning to leave.

I instantly pouted already missing him, it was ridiculous that as soon as he left I'd start counting down the time until I could see him again. I decided to busy myself around the house to distract myself, I finished up washing the dishes from breakfast before going upstairs to find something else to clean.

This was gonna be a long day.

Mattia's POV:

The bell rang signifying the end of the school day. Coach sent a message in the team chat canceling practice so I decided that I would go to Bella's early and surprise her.

'No practice boys, what are we doing instead?' Alejandro yelled hanging off of Kai and I's shoulders.

'I'm gonna go check on Bells' I smiled to myself thinking about how excited she'll be when I get home early.

'Almost forgot that both of you are whipped' Kai rolled his eyes at both of us.

'Have you asked her yet?' I asked Alejandro remembering how serious he was about Lauren the last time we spoke.

'Nah not yet, I'm having dinner with her parents tomorrow though' he cheesed proud of himself. I patted him on his shoulder signifying my proudness.

'I'm gonna head out, I'll text you guys later' I said dapping them both up before heading to my car.

I waltzed over to student parking lot trying to see Bella as soon as possible. A face in the crowd caused my face to go red instantly. I clenched my fists pacing over to him. I used all the strength I had in me to shove him into the concrete, my fist connected with his jaw and cheeks repeatedly. He let out low groans as I continued to abuse him the way he did Bella on Halloween night. Anger surged through me while everything turned red. This what it. He was finally getting what he deserved. I used the memories of that night to fuel my anger even more as I lifted my foot to kick him in the stomach.
