John's p.o.v
I'm sitting at the bar with some of my band mates, waiting for our turn to play. I order a beer, hopefully to get a little drunk so I'm not nervous, while Paul McCartney, my best mates, orders a coke. I notice a lot of birds trying to flirt with him, but he just ignores them. I let out a sigh of relief, thank God, I always get jealous when some slutty birds try to talk to him. At first, I always denied the fact of me being queer, not only is it illegal, but I can't stand the thought of Paul being disgusted in me.
I'm broken out of thought when I feel a tug on my leather jacket, "Come on Johnny, it's almost our turn." Paul says standing up. I nod and head backstage to get my guitar.
We get called up a few minutes later, "Ready lads?" I say sounding a bit nervous but also excited, this is our first full house with Paul and George and I'm really excited. They all nod and shake of their fear before heading on stage. My vision is blurry, of course I have my Buddy Holly glasses in my breast pocket but never wore them, to the dismay of Aunt Mimi. Even if I did put them on, I would have just fainted every time we did a gig.
I do a little introduction and head straight into 'Johnny B. Goode'. To my pleasure, the crowd seems to enjoy it an I even see people dancing. We do a few more songs, including some Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and even some Elvis, the crowd are all singing along. I turn and flash a big smile at Paul, to which he returns. My heart flutters and I miss a few chords. I cringe and hope no one will notice, but then hear a soft chuckle behind me. I turn and notice Paul, who looks away and stifles a laugh.
We finish our set and starts packing up to leave, "What was so funny Macca?" I say walking up behind him, "Whatever do you mean?" He says fluttering his long lashes, trying to sound innocent.
"Oh, well I thought I heard some bird giggling behind me, but when I turned around, I saw you." I smirk. I hear Pete, Stu and George laugh behind me. He turns bright red at the mention of me calling him a girl, "Hey!" He says trying to hit me, but before he can, I grab our guitars and run off laughing.
A/N: Just a little disclaimer, this was for a school project and will be fluff! (kissing, hugging etc.) So there will be no smut! (No sex scenes!!)
If you're here from my instagram there are some differences, not major but just a little heads up!
