I finally convinced Eden to forget studying for one day, and to come and watch the Gryffindor/Hufflepuff quidditch match. Jane was in our dorm, talking our ears off about it, telling us all about her team's Seeker, and how she fancied him.

'His name is Cedric,' she said for about the third time. 'He's rather nice, and lets me talk to him all about magical creatures.'

'Could Jane be,' Eden gasped. 'In love? And with a Fourth Year at that.'

We all laughed together as Jane blushed, heavily. She tried to deny her feelings.

'Don't be silly, Eden of course not.'

The Quidditch match was starting soon, and I helped Jane with some last minute yellow and black face paint. This game she was particularly fond of, maybe even more so than gobstones, and ever since she started talking to Cedric, she seemed to know a lot about it. I never pegged Jane as a sports lover; perhaps there was even more to learn about her.

Many people turned out for the match today, despite the harsh weather. The temperature seemed to drop ten degrees overnight, which was a shock to us all. We found seats higher up in the pitch to see the game better, and Soren caught up to us eventually. Draco and his friends did as well.

'You'd think they'd put a sort of heating charm around the pitch?' Soren asked, rubbing his hands together.

'That would be too easy,' Jane said

Hufflepuff took to the field first, causing Jane to let out a deafening cheer. Eden scolded her when she was through, naturally. Gryffindor followed them, and Soren and I stood up on the seats to see our friends. Harry, George, and Fred were all playing today, and knowing them, it wasn't going to be an easy game. We knew Snape would make any excuse to throw a penalty their way.

Snape threw the quaffle in the air, and the match began. Everyone in the stands was screaming, watching the game unfold. Hufflepuff scored first, but I started to watch Harry instead. I could tell he found the snitch already, only a few minutes in.

'Look, Soren!' I nudged him. 'Harry's going for the —'

He grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me down. George just soared over the crowd, chasing a bludger. When he knocked it away from us, it hurdled down toward Snape. He awarded them a penalty.

'Next time duck!' Seamus yelled. 'Stupid git.'

The Gryffindors started to become flustered, but before they could say anything else, Harry had already caught the snitch. This had to be the quickest game in Quidditch history, and turns out, it was.

'You're telling me we had to get all dressed up for a fifteen minute game of Quidditch?' Eden groaned.

'A very exciting fifteen minutes of Quidditch,' Jane clapped. 'Come on, we'll get lunch and keep studying. I know that'll make you feel better.'

Eden mouth curved into a smile. I swear, she was going to study herself to death; she was worse than Granger.

To be fair, exams were now two weeks away, and the stress was starting to creep up on me as well. I didn't want to show it. I retained most of the information I learned in school, and the more I studied it, the worse my anxiety would become.

'You hungry Stella?' Soren asked.

I shook my head.

'Neither am I,' he said. 'Want to go for a walk by the lake?'

'Of course.'

The tiny stones crunched beneath our feet as we walked by the Black Lake. It's been a while since I've had some one-on-one time with my brother. Most siblings couldn't wait to be away from each other, but Soren and I were different. We actually enjoyed each other's company, much like Fred and George did; though we weren't as high strung.
