Since we didn't have to worry about our luggage, as soon as Soren and I reached the castle, we ran straight into the Gryffindor Common Room to see Harry, Ron and Hermione. I was beyond happy to see them, and I think I can speak for Soren as well. I tried to enter the password, but I couldn't remember it, and the Fat Lady didn't look too pleased with a couple of Slytherins trying to enter the dorm.

The door ended up opening anyway, and Ron almost ran right into me.

'You're back!' Ron stepped down and hugged me. 'It's been forever, and so much has happened. Harry got the most brilliant Christmas gift ever, and we don't even know who it's from!'

We stepped through the tunnel, and saw Harry sitting in an armchair next to the grand fireplace.

'What'd you get, Harry?' Soren asked excitedly.

He pulled out a piece of fabric from the side table. It looked like it was decorated with the night sky, gold and silver accents glittering across the surface.

'It's an invisibility cloak,' he explained, still keeping it low enough and away from everyone's view. 'It's how I found that mirror that Ron told you about in his letter without getting caught by a professor.'

'The mirror?'

'Yes, The Mirror of Erised,' Harry said. 'I saw my parents in it.'

We fell silent, knowing it was a touchy subject.

'I saw myself as Headboy,' Ron went on. 'And Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup with me as their Keeper.'

We smiled, trying to keep the mood up after what Harry told us. I could tell he was off.

'I wanted to see for myself what I wished for most in life,' Hermione smiled, looking up from her book. 'But I didn't get to. By the way, Thank you for the gifts you sent Stella.'

'Of course,' I nodded. 'Ron, you mentioned Dumbledore may have moved the mirror somewhere?'

'Yes he did,' Harry responded. 'He said it was somewhere where it wouldn't be found again.'

'Which means,' Hermione went on. 'It's sitting somewhere in the castle, and I don't know about you, but I plan on finding it.'

'I agree,' Soren and I said simultaneously.

Footsteps were coming down the spiral stone staircase along with rowdy laughter. I recognized those voices anywhere.

'Well, well,' George spoke.

'The other twins are back,' Fred smiled at me and high-fived Soren. I noticed he glanced down from my eyes and looked at the necklace he sent me during break. His smile grew even wider and I looked down at my feet; my smile was obviously growing as well.

'What are you lot up to?' Soren asked them.

Fred and George looked at each other. Mischievous.

'We found just the right toilet seat to send to Filch over the holidays.'

'He found out, obviously. Wasn't too pleased.'

The rest of us laughed while Hermione rolled her eyes, closed her book, and stood up from her chair.

'Normally I don't condone this type of behavior,' she said. 'But my curiosity is killing me.'

'Oh yeah?' Fred asked.

'And why is that, Granger?' George said.

'If this mirror is miraculous as these two say,' she motioned to Ron and Harry. 'I wouldn't mind seeing my future.'
