Taming the Prince || K. Taehyun ✔

Chapter Three

Months have passed, Chaeryoung left. Taehyun has been so distant to me again. I feel so lonely whenever he left our room and sleep at the guest room. Mother in law won't let us have a divorce. She knew that her son will change.

She trusted me to him. I'm trying to be close to Taehyun but he'll ignore me. Sunoo, Kai, Taehyun and me decided to have a stroll in the village. I already know who are they going to meet. Girls.

Taehyun and I left alone oustside the bar. He took a look at some vendors. It's a store full of bracelets. I wore my royalty mask today. That's why no one can recognize me. Some men do 'psst!' and even whistled at me. They look like jerks.

Flowers caught my eyes. They are lovely. "Maam, you wanna buy flowers?" the saleslady asked. I smell the flowers when someone grabbed my arm. Ot was an unknown man. He licked his lips while looking at my private part.

"Let me go!" I whines in pain causing Taehyun to look at me. The man tries to lick my neck but before he did, Taehyun gift him a punch. He looks so shock by seeing the crown prince. "Don't-you-dare-touch-my-wife!" he shoutes word by word.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it's the crown princess" he beg.

Taehyun told him to run away before he kills him. He approached me and said "Don't come here ever again" he looks so angry.

"Do you understand?" he angrily asked that made me flich and earned a whisper from the crowd.

"Y-yes, I understood".

We went home back to the palace. "Why is he so grumpy?" Sunoo asked. I just shrugged my shoulders. I followed him to our room.

He is fixing his hanbok and ignored me again. But before he went out the room, I stopped him by holding his hand causing him to turn back.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I asked without hesitation.

"Let me go" he said emotionless.

"You said you love me, but when Chaeryoung arrived you started to ignore me. Look Taehyun, she hurt you before. What if she'll do that again? What if she flirts with other men behind your bac--"

*paaak!*

I held my cheek. He slapped me causing me to fall on the floor. "You are the flirty one here! I forced myself to love you! I never loved you and I will never will".

I sobbed hard when he left. This life is very traumatic. I wanna live this hell place. I don't want to stay here forever. Normal people is allowed to divorce but for royalties it's forbidden. So, I'm trying my best to change Taehyun.

I wiped my tears and went downstairs. No one is here, only the maids. "Hi horsie" I greeted my brown horse with a yellow hair. Like a caramel.

There are things that  I didn't notice in this empire. A lots of tulips. I reach the mountain top. The view of the palace is beautiful. I took a deep sigh as I remember what happened earlier. I shook my head tryin' to forget it.

My horse looked at me. "I'm fine". It's not even talking. But I know animals can detect our feelings. I picked some flowers for my vase there in our room. It's smell so fresh.

I was too focused. Humming a song and twirling like a ballerina. I didn't even realized that it started to rain. I quickly rode my horse back to the palace.

Before I enter the palace, I heard shouts. "Where is she?! And why did you let her to go out?!" it's Taehyun, pointing at the guards. All of them looked at me when I enter.

They all looked so worried. Taehyun approached me and cupped my face. "Gosh, I thought I lost you" he said that made me confused. "Next time, tell me and don't make me worried okay?" I just nodded.

I'm so confused of his sudden behavior. I just ignored it and went upstairs to our room to have a shower. I sat on the bathtub. "Why is he worried? I thought, he don't love me. Gosh! I'm so confused"

While Y/N is mumbling, Taehyun was outside listening to her mumbles. He felt a sting on his heart when he heard her say which made him sad and dissapointed.

"I wish he could love me like I do. And I will have a wonderfull married life"

With that, Taehyun entered the bathroom hugging Y/N while sobbing.

OMG! Why is he hugging me? And he's crying?.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'm s-sorry" he cried.

"Why?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't give you the life you want. I'm sorry, I lied. I lied that I love you".

I didn't even realized that I'm nakes. And because of that, I shout. "Ahhhhh!!" covering myself with both of my hands. He immediately covered his eyes and looked away.

"Get out!" he nodded and run outside.

I finished taking a bath. Taehyun waited for me. He sat down the couch while watching tv. I cleared my throat causing him to look at me while smiling. Well, he's different now and I'm not used to it.

"Uhmm..." he started.

"You don't have to force yourself Tae, I'm fine. You should look after Chaeryoung,.......not me" I silently said.

I get dressed in yellow-white hanbok. "I-" before he could say anything, I left the room. I won't listen to his lies anymore. I'm so sick of it. I heard him calling my name but I ignored it.

Mother in law hosted a ball. A ball for Kai's searching for wife. He's pouting while hugging my arms. "Kai, your'e not a kid anymore. You should marry first" Sunoo said.

"But-"

"No buts Kai. You'll get used to it. You'll learn to love her, like me" Taehyun said.

Is that meant for me?. I glared at him a little and he's looking at me. He's weird.

"Kai, listen" father in law announced.

"Princess Fumi, from Song Empire" king announced. He looked at Kai.

"Nah, she put too much make up" Kai answered that made the princess whinned.

Five princess were announced. We thought we lost our hope. There's only one princess that made Kai shooked. He stood up.

"Princess Yuna, from Shin Empire".

"She's the one".
