"Simon, where are you going?" Mum asked worriedly. "Away from here, I need space mum." I said as I packed my stuff. "Is this about Addilyn?" My vision started to get blurry as she mentioned her name. "Can you stop? Addie is gone, so can you please stop." I said and grabbed my bag and took my car keys. "Son please don't go." Mum cried. "its for my good mum" i said and entered the car. "Simon for the sake of Eric please stay." "My condition won't do any good for him. Please. I'll be back soon." I said and quickly entered the car. "UNCLE SI DON'T LEAVE!" Eric shouted but it was too late I started driving away.
As I drove off memories of Addie and I flashed into my mind.
"Uhm Hi." I greeted this very exquisite girl. "Hey." She greeted back. "I'm guessing you're my science partner?" She smiled, her smile is so dainty. "Yes, yes I am." I said. "By the way I'm Addie, Addilyn Rose." She introduced. "Simon." I replied.
I started crying, why did she had to go? I didn't notice that I passed the speed limit until I saw a truck coming from a different direction. I quickly turned the wheel and gladly I dodged. I looked back and good nothing happened until I focused at the front again. I stepped into the break as I hard as I can. But there's no luck I crashed. But not that bad. I hit the steering wheel and relaxed my nerves off before I continue to where I was going.
Few hours passed by and I arrived at this resort. Finally somewhere I can be alone. Well not really since there are some guests here but like no one to disturb me. I head up to the reception and gladly I got a house. "Sir, Once you check out you can never check in." He said and smiled. I just gave him a smile still confused on what he said. I head up to where my house is and settled in. I flopped on the bed and let my body rest.
I woke up as the light of the sun blinded my eyes. Not really. and I decided that I'll take a walk at the beach. I head to the bathroom and changed. As I was done I went out and took a stroll on the beach. As I was walking someone bumped into me. "I'm so sorry sir." I was really not in the mood to talk to someone and this little girl bumped into me. "It's ok. Are you ok?" I asked. I have no intentions to be rude to this kid. "Yes I'm good." She replied. "Where are your parents?" I asked wondering why this kid is walking alone. "Oh they're somewhere around here." She replied. What? Who leaves their kids walking alone? "Would you let me help you find them?" I asked. Even though I needed space, this kid needs her parents. "No thanks I was actually looking for someone." She said. "If you want I'll come with you." I said. "Sure, she's the nicest person in this resort. I'll introduce you to her." She said and grabbed my hand. "By the way what's your name?" I asked
"My name is Beki, Nice to meet you?" "Simon, But you can call me uncle Simon." I introduced. "Hey Rosa!, Where's mumzy?" She asked as we saw another girl. "She's at the rocks. Want me to accompany you?" She offered. Great more kids. "Rosa, this is uncle Simon, Uncle Simon meet Rosa." She introduced. Rosa gave me a wave and a smile and I just smiled at her. We continued walking for a bit until we arrived at the rocks. And there I saw a girl standing on the rocks, her hair and long skirt dancing as the wind blows gracefully. Her feet being splashed by the waves. "That's our mumzy." She said and we got a little closer. "I can sense a negative energy here." The girl said, Her voice it is so familiar. It almost sounds like Addily-. I stopped thinking about her voice when she turned. I-it can't be. "Addie?" I asked.
She gave me a confused look. "So what are you two kids doing here?" She asked changing the subject. She looks likes Addie, She talks like Addie, But something's off. "Addie it is you." I said and hugged her. "Uhm sir, I think you're mistaken. I'm not whoever you are referring to." She said and I let go. "No, You're Addie." I can't be mistaken. "Uncle Si, This is Amanda the owner and the person I've been telling you about." Beki says and I was again in total shock and embarrassment. "So you're really not Addie?" I assured. She shakes her head sideways as she pouts.
"Well Beki and Rosa, You told this man about me but you didn't tell him my name." She teased as she knelt down to have the same level as them. "Sorry mumzy, I was looking for you then I bumped into Uncle Si, and he wanted to come with me to keep me company." Beki explained. "And then I met Rosa and told me where you were." She added. "I guess you want a sleepover again don't you?" She asked. "Ooh can I join too?" Rosa asked. "Ok then. You know where to find me later." She said. "Yes ma'am, Oh and Uncle Si we're just gonna leave you so bye!" Before I can stop them they ran off.
"Kids." The girl chuckled. "I uhm, I'm sorry about earlier, I thought you were someone." I apologized. "No worries, So what brings here to La casa Louisiana?" She asked. "I don't want to talk about it." I don't want to spill it since the wounds are still fresh. "I should head back to my place." I said. "See you around then." She said and I left. Well a lot has already happened in this place.
