I arrived at my place, exhausted. That was a heck of a day. I took my phone out and it was dead. Damnit. I should look for a phone to tell my parents I'm ok. A sudden knock on the door echoed around the house. "Just a minute." I said as I wore a shirt and rushed at the door. I quickly opened and was greeted by Add- I mean Amanda. "Hi, I just wanted to check up on you." She smiled. "Uhm? Why?" I was confused. This is actually not helping me. "You remember at the rocks? I said I felt a negative energy? Yeah I felt that from you." She smiled again. Why is this woman so jolly.
"You have nothing to worry about." I replied coldly. Whoever she is, she has no right to check up on me. She even might be a serial killer. "Wow earlier you were this Mr. Hug guy and now you're being cold." She smirked. "That was none of your business. I only did that because I thought you were someone else." I defended. " Ok then, suit yourself but the kids wanted you to join the sleepover." She said. "No thanks." I replied. "Ok then, they might get disappointed at you and you have to get some good excuse for that." She said and walked away. That woman urgh! I brushed my thoughts off as I realized what I was looking for again. Right a phone.
I got out and head to the reception. "Hi excuse do you have a phone I can use?" I asked. The person gladly smiles and took out a telephone. I simply thanked him and started dialing my parents number. Nothing. I dialed again and gladly it rang.
"Hello mum?" I assured since maybe I might dialed the wrong number.
"Simon Cowell?! Where are you!?" Oop she's mad.
"I'm fine mum I just went to paradise for a while." I said.
"We're coming there." She said in panic.
"You don't need to. I just need space mum. I just called to check up on you there" I said. And it went silent after.
"Take care." She said and I can tell she's gonna cry.
"Don't cry I'll see you soon. But now I got to go, bye mum." I said and waited for her reply before I drop the call. Well at least it was a relief for them that I'm alive. I decided to drop by a store and bought some food and essentials. "Uhm excuse me sir, but can you lend me those pills on the top shelf?" A girl around her 20's asked. Dang it I had no choice so I did it. "Thank you sir." She smiled. "Oh hey Eli. Oh I see you' met Mr. moody over here." Are you kidding me? She's here to annoy me. Oh just guess who it is, "Uhm yeah, He helped me reach my pills since I can't quite reach them." She explained. "Oh I see, someone is being generous today." She teased as she gently pinched my sides. "Stop." I said through gritted teeth.
"Ooh calm down tiger, no need to be mad." She said and pats my cheek and left. "Is she really that exasperating?" I asked the girl who I helped. "Not really, it's a first I've seen her acted this way, but some say she does act like that, I better get going. Thanks again Mr.?" "Simon, You can just call me Simon." I said. "Alright then Simon, see you around here at La casa Louisiana." She said and left again. I sighed again and payed for what I got. As I got out the sun was about to set so I kind of rushed home and as I got there I was confused why my lights are on. I reached the front door and there I heard giggles.
I opened it and saw two kids who are really familiar. "Beki? Rosa? H-how did you enter?" I'm completely stunned how these kids entered my house. "Oh you're back! Hey." Amanda appeared from the kitchen. I was out of words from what I was seeing. "What are you doing?" I asked grumpily. "Hey, hey not in front of the kids, Since you don't want to join us, These two insisted and wanted to bring the sleepover here." She explained. "Yeah, no, I'm sorry kids I'm not in the mood." I apologized. I'm really not in the mood. "Please Uncle Si? Just for one night?" Beki said with matching puppy eyes. I really thought no one would disturb me but these girls are. "Fine." I said and head to my room.
"You know, you did the right thing." I jumped as I heard a voice behind me. Why is this lady always scaring me. "Can you just stop sneaking behind me?" I said and she giggled and left. She is really creeping me out. I head to the balcony to watch the sunset and it did impressed me. The view was stupendous. The ocean reflecting the sun it was too mesmerizing.
"Ooh we should watch the sunset." Addie says and grabs my hand as she pulls me with her. We sat on top of the cliff as the vehicles pass by the road behind us. "It's breathtaking isn't it?" I said as I looked at her. Her golden blond hair was blown by the wind. "I love you." She said as she rest her head on my shoulder. "I love you too." I said as I kissed her head.
"Breathtaking isn't it?" Amanda suddenly bugged in making me jump again. "What the hell?!" "Woah calm down Mr. cold jumpy pants, I just wanted to check up on you." She said as she stands beside me. "*inhales deeply*. I told you I'm fine" I said remaining calm and we both went silent as we admire the sunset.
"I should go check on the kids." I said and head down. "I wish Mumzy can make Uncle Si happy before we leave tomorrow." I heard Rosa so I hid behind the corner to listen. "Yeah, but its mumzy she can do it." Beki cheered and so I decided to show up. "Hey kids." I said and they both look at my direction. They immediately hugged me. "We're gonna miss you Uncle Si." Beki said and hugged tighter. "Group hug." Amanda bugged in and joined. Not gonna lie this feels better.
