Author's POV

Class A and B students mumbled to their friends as they gathered at the library for some reason they weren't aware of.

Jimin was standing with his group of friends when he noticed Rosé at the corner of the room, sitting on a chair looking bored so he walked towards her with a smile.

"Hey Rosie!" He called her which caused Rosé to jolt her head towards him. "Rosie?" She smiled, happy at the fact that her crush made a nickname specially for her.

Jimin rubbed his nape and chuckled, his eyes turning into crescents. "Sorry, it slipped out of my mouth. I won't call you tha-" Jimin said but got cut off by Rosé who shook her head saying, "No! No! You can call me that. I like it." Rosé smiled.

Jimin nodded and took a seat beside her, their shoulders brushed against each other in the process causing Rosé to look away, flustered.

"Do you know why we are here?" Jimin questioned as he looked at the girl who's face was currently covered by her hair so that her blushing wasn't visible to him.

"No idea." Rosé mumbled but flinched when Jimin pushed her hair behind her ear with his fingers. HIS SMOL FINGERS TOUCHED MY FACE- Rosé mentally exclaimed.

Rosé looked at Jimin who was smiling warmly at her. "Why are you hiding your face?" Jimin asked. Rosé shook her head. "I'm not hiding. My hair wants to hide my face." Rosé said which cause Jimin laugh.

"You're too cute for me to handle!" Jimin exclaimed, making Rosé more flustered than she is. "Y-yah!" She stuttered as she looked away.

At the exact same time, the principal entered the library with a sad smile. Everyone quieted down and faced the older man who was standing on the mini stage.

He smiled sadly, "We have a sad news." He began, instantly gaining every single student's attention.

"Students who are the mentioned student's friends please do not freak out." He said and everyone frowned, thinking. Freak out? Why? 

"Yoo Jeongyeon was found dead yesterday night."

That was the only sentence needed to be said as Dahyun immediately stood up. Her chair fell backwards due to the force she made.

"WHAT?!"

Everyone turned around and looked at Dahyun who had tears in her eyes. "How is Jeongyeon dead?! She will not commit suicide!" She protested.

The principal sighed. "I know but that was what the reports said. According to the police, there were no traces of another being in her house and only a glass of milk was seen near her dead corpse. The police checked with her parents and they confirmed that she poured the milk herself and brought it in her room herself. They even saw the footage of Jeongyeon pouring herself a glass of milk. No suspicious act was seen in the CCTV cameras so the police are saying that Jeongyeon added poison to her drink as DNA results said that the milk contained poisoning chemicals. " The principal explained, earning some gasps from the crowd.

"This must be a pre-planned murder! I know our Jeongyeon would never do that!" Irene yelled. Seulgi nodded in agreement as she was speechless from the sudden news. Especially when it's about her best friend being dead.

"It's not a murder Irene. She really died. The police and investigating department checked the whole house and Jeongyeon's room had only her presence. No other so this can't be a murder." The principal said. Dahyun fell on her knees while the two looked down and sobbed in their hands.

Everyone looked at them sympathetically when Dahyun abruptly stood up. She stomped towards Rosé and pushed her against the wall, holding her neck tightly which prevented Rosé to breathe.

"You bitch! You killed her! You took revenge by murdering her! NOW YOU DIE!" Dahyun screamed and tightened the grip around Rosé's neck.

Rosé choked and used her hand to push Dahyun away but due to lack of air, Rosé was out of energy and had less strength to push her.

Jimin ran towards the two and pushed Dahyun. Dahyun fell on the ground with a thump while Rosé fell on her knees to catch her breath, tears were already rolling down her eyes. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Jimin yelled at Dahyun who looked back at Jimin with sadness in her eyes.

"I'm killing the killer!" She shouted but Jimin scoffed.

"You have no proof she's the killer and the police said that Jeongyeon's room had no one but her presence so Rosé wouldn't have killed her!" Jimin defended. Most of the girls gasped and started whispering to each other.

"Why is Jimin helping that trash?"
"Such a crybaby!"
"She's such a attention seeker she is!"

Rosé looked away and wiped her flowing tears but still, tears rolled down her cheek.

Jimin bent down and helped Rosé and turned to face the crowd. "Now all of you, stop saying such stupid stuffs about Rosé!" He yelled. 

Then, he turned and brought Rosé out of the library, clicking his tongue in annoyance at how immature most girls [except Rosé] especially Dahyun was just now.

I smiled mentally and laughed hysterically.
