The title of this work is Confessions of a Lost Soul.
But is the soul really lost?
Or is it just hiding?

Is this soul wondering? Forever looking for an exit, a light.
Or is it sitting in a corner, hiding from reality?

Is the darkness real?
Or is it purposeful? Lids closed over cornea and pupil, preventing light from forming images.

Is it alone? No sounds but its own.
Or are there hands, so desperately clutching at ears that only holes remain?

Am I lost?
Or am I just refusing to wake up.

"The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves. We live in denial of what we do, even what we think. We do this because we're afraid. We fear we will not find love, and when we find it we fear we'll lose it. We fear that if we don't have love we will be unhappy." - Richard Bach
