Against Genei

|Pinball Stadium|

The day Raimon against Genei academy has arrived, you and your teammates arrived in the stadium with no lights until...

The cameras in the spectator seats are all taking pictures of Raimon and Genei,the spotlight are on both teams, you all walk in the pinball stadium.

At first you thought this was a normal stadium but you were room soon as the Stadium platform started to shine.

What kind of surprise will this stadium bring us?

You and your teammates walk in the field, the referee whistle the beginning of the match, Genei start the kick-off.

Shindou immediately steal the ball from the opponent he pass it to Tenma, Tenma tries to pass it to Kyousuke but suddenly an obstacle appears between the ball and Kyousuke,the ball bounce back to Tenma and hit him.

The ball leaves the field zone, you take the chance to check up on Tenma.

"Are you okay?!" You crouch checking if he was alright.

"Yeah.." Answer Tenma.

"What In the world is this.." You said looking at the obstacle that bounced the ball.

So this is the Pinball stadium functions, the commentator call it.. Jet bumpers.

The jet bumpers goes back underground and the field goes back to normal.

Genei do the throwing at where the ball fell and Shindou immediately steal it again, he does a long pass high enough to dodge the jet bumpers, you get the ball but another jet bumpers this time taller than the other one appears on front of you.

BAM

You didn't had time to dodge it so you get hit by Jet bumpers right on the face and fell on the ground, what's worse is that you were wearing your mask wich makes more pain.

The ball rolls toward Nishiki, he tries to shoot in the goal but another obstacle this time called flippers bounce the ball away giving the opponent back the ball.

Genei tries to counterattack but thank goodness Kurumada was a there and and kick the ball out of the zone.

"Are you hurt?" Ask Shindou and held out his hands to help you get up. (God I'm always making Shindou the one helping the reader should I stop that?-).

"I'm fine!" You take Shindou hand and get up.

"Be careful." Said Shindou and went back to his position.

You nod and went back to your position, by watching your opponents playing you knew that they were informed on when and how these things activates, this is gonna be hard to figure out how they work.

Mahoro gets the ball and uses his invincible hissatsu that no one has blocked yet. "Phantom shot!"

The ball disappear and appear like a ghost and pass through Amagi and Sangoku hissatsu.

GOAL!

Impressive yet scary, what kind of hissatsu is this..

The match continued the first half is soon gonna end and we didn't even goal once, we were powerless because of these Jet bumpers and because of this hissatsu.

They managed to get another goal wich bring the score to 0:2.

Whistle!

The first half ended, you sat down on the bench and took off your mask.

"Huh? WHA! [F/N]! YOUR NOSE!" Shout Midori.

"What about my nose?" You look at them confused.

Akane take a pic of you with her camera and show it to you, you had a small bruise on your nose, probably when you hit this Jet Bumpers..

"It's fine, just a bruise-"

"Just a bruise?! Aoi bring the bandages!" Shout Midori.

"Yes !" Aoi went to pick the bandage bag.

"Aren't they overreacting?" You look at Kyousuke.

"It can leave a scar." He respond.

"Oh, come on! It's really nothing it will disappear in some days!" You pout.

"I got the bandages!" Say Aoi.

"Okay, Tsuguri do it." Ordered Midori.

"Ah ? Why should I do it?" Ask Kyousuke.

"You're her friend you should care more for her!" reply Midori.

"She can take care of herself." Said Kyousuke.

"I can do it, guy's-" You tried to stop the fight.

"I can help!" Tenma raise his hand to also stop the fight.

"Good, atleast Tenma is kin-" Said midori but got interrupted by Kyousuke.

"Tch." Kyousuke take the bandage from Aoi hand and carefully put it on your nose.

Your eyes widen, you've never seen Kyousuke doing something this kind to you, it makes you very happy, this time it's for the best that you don't wear the mask for the second half.

The coach Kidou called everyone to speak about the Jet bumpers and other obstacles, some sort of time lag with a small among of time for these machines to detect the ball and player's, Kidou ask us to use this to our advantage.

The second half start, Raimon start the kick-off Tenma pass the ball to you, you face yourself to the Jet Bumpers.

You wait for the perfect moment to use the jet as your advantage, you wait a bit and... Now !

"[H/N]!" You use your hissatsu and shoot in the ball, the Jet Bumpers miss the opportunity to bounce your hissatsu and it directly goes into the opponent goal.

GOAL!

"You did it [F/N]!" Shout Tenma.

"Yep !" You smile.

But you immediately stopped when you remembered you weren't wearing a mask, it kinda felt awkward now to smile at your teammates like that..

The match resume and Shindou steal the ball once again and pass it to Hamano.

But Mahoro kick in the ball and make Hamano fall, this is a dangerous play.

"Hamano!" You walk up to him and see that he was holding his leg in pain, it reminded you of your old teammates that got hurt by the fifth sector.

"Don't worry [F/N], I'm fine!" Hamano faked smiled.

"No you're not, here." You held out your hand to help Hamano to get up.

This time, Mahoro has crossed the line.

|Somewhere else at the Hospital/Taiyou pov|

"That's a surprise, aren't you gonna turn on the TV to watch Raimon against Genei?" Ask Fuyuka.

"Nah, I don't need to. I know that [F/N] is gonna win.. And.. If I do that I always get excited to play soccer and escape my room." I answered.

"Or is it because she asked you to not leave?" Smile Fuyuka.

"Not really, it's my own descision." I denied.

"Oh really? It's rare for you to stay still though." Chuckle Fuyuka.

"I... Don't tell [F/N] about this." I mumble.

"Sure." Said Fuyuka.
