I was often mistaken as a girl because of my pinkish hair and girly look, but somehow... [F/N] [L/N] was one of the first people who didn't really mistaken me as one.

I already knew she was special at first when I saw her, but I didn't knew that this special feeling will end up... Like...

"Kirino?"

"Huh?"

I was sitting on the ground thinking about life with a soccer ball in my hands wearing my soccer uniform in the riverbank when [F/N] spot me and kinda surprised me, I raised my head to meet her eyes.

"Oh, Hey [F/N]." I said with a smile.

"Were you daydreaming? I called you atleast five times." She said with a worried look.

"Yeah, sorry I was thinking about something." I said.

"It's fine! are you practicing?"

"Yeah, I got distracted by my thoughts." I replied.

"May I join? I need to progress if I want to get better." She asked.

"Sure, it's better than practicing alone." I respond.

And that's how [F/N] joined me for my training, we did a break after 2 hours non-stop from stealing the ball from each other and some dribbles.

You two sat down exhausted.

"You keep on progressing even without practice, I envy you [F/N]." I said.

"Nah, trust me. Even if I don't practice I do it in my dreams." She said joking.

"Pft, Nice one." I chuckle.

"Anyway, how's Shindou?" Asked [F/N].

"He's fine, he is slowly recovering." I said.

"That's good, by the way.."

"Yes?"

"Have you ever tried doing another hairstyle than two pigtails?" She asked moving her hands mimicking my two pigtails.

"Not really, pigtails are easier for me to do." I replied.

"Oh, may I?" She said pointing at my hair.

"Sure." I smile.

[F/N] smile and walk behind my back to undo my hair and started to try out some new hair styles like ponytails, buns, straight hair and more..

"So?" she ask.

"It doesn't change much, but I still prefer the pigtails." I respond.

"Hm, you are used to it I guess, for me.. Everything suit you well!" She said.

"Really..?" I asked.

"Yeah! Why would I lie about that?" she start to redo my two pigtails.

"Nothing, it's just... Nobody really told me that."

"Then! I guess I'm the first one then!" she finishes and sat down on front of me.

"Hey um.."

"What's up?"

"I actually wanted to talk about this to Shindou, but I didn't want to cause him more problems... Is it okay if I talk about my problems to you?" I asked.

"Sure, what's wrong? Family, relatives, friends?" Asked [F/N].

"No.. It's more about.. A girl."

[F/N] gasp and smirk then playfully hit my shoulder.

"Ohh~ Is Kirino inlove with a girl?" She teased.

"Well..."

"Huh? Wait... Am I right?!" She ask me a bit surprised.

"Yeah..." I answered.

"Oh? Do I know her? Is it a Manager?!" She asked.

"No and no.. It's just that I need a girl opinion that's all, I can't speak about to Aoi or Akane nor Midori or they'll tease me for the rest of the years..." I said.

"Oh, understood! Tell me what you need opinions on!" She said.

"Well, How should I look like when I approach a girl?" I asked a bit shyly, gosh this is way too embarrassing yet it's my only chance to win this girl heart.

"Kirino, listen."

"Huh ?"

"Even if it's for someone you love, you should never change your style or even your personality for someone you like, the person must accept your true self THEN you two can have an happy ending!" She said with a smile.

"Happy ending, huh?" Unexpected but useful.

"Yup! If this girl doesn't accept you as the way you are then she's not perfect for you and that's okay! There's tons of other girls that probably would dream to date you!" She giggle.

"I understand, thank you. It's really useful." I smiled to her.

"Glad to hear, Oh god! I'm late for lunch! I need to go. See you Kirino!" She ran off.

I waved at her then pick up the soccer ball from the ground.

Someone knocked on the door, I answered it and see Kirino.

"Hey [F/N]! Ready to practice?" He smile at you.

"Of course! Soooo.. Did you talked to your crush?" You Smirked.

"Actually, I had the courage to speak to her yesterday."

"How did it end??"

"She's the one." Said Kirino.

"Ohh that's a good sign! I hope i can get to see her." I said.

"Of course, you'll see her soon."

"Anyway, let's go practice!" I steal the ball from Kirino hands and run away.

"Hey! Not fair! Cheater!" Shouted Kirino and ran after you.
