First Date

It was just about five thirty and I was putting on the final touches to my hair. I only wore a little makeup and went to put my dress on. It was light gray and simple and I hoped it fit wherever we were going since I had no clue. At 6:00 I heard the doorbell ring. I jumped up excitedly and ran to the door. "Hi." I said when I opened it and saw Niall standing there. "Hey. You look amazing." He said as he gave me his hand to take. I took it and said "you don't look to bad yourself." He smiled and said " so what do you wanna do?" "I don't know I was hoping you had something in mind." I answered. "Ok I have an idea." He said with a smile. We got in his car and drove for about fifteen minutes until we reached a park. We got out and he said "follow me." We walked along the path until a blanket with a picnic set up came into view. "You did all of this?" I asked. It was beautiful. There where candles and everything. "We'll I wanted it to look nice for a beautiful girl." He said and I felt myself blush again. We sat down and began to eat. As we ate and talked I found we had a lot more in common than singing. He was down to earth and for awhile I forgot he was famous. Time seemed to move faster and much to soon I had to go home. "When can I see you again?" I asked. "I guess boot camp. I have to start traveling again for more auditions." I replied. "But I thought LA and Demi were coming back." I said confused. "What don't like me as a judge?" He asked jokingly making me smile. "No LA is having family trouble and Demi has to go back to rehab for her eating disorder." He said. "So you and zayn are staying the whole season?" I asked. "Yes we are" he said smiling at me. I smiled back happy I would see him again. We reached my house and he walked me to the door. "We'll I guess I'll see you in a few weeks" he said. "I guess you will" I replied. He hugged me and promised he would call. Then he went back to his car and waved before he pulled out of the driveway. I opened my door and ran up to my room wanting to call Amanda and tell her everything.
