The theme this week would make this week interesting.. Love songs. Thursday morning we got to the recording studios and met with Niall. It was I quick hug and we sat down. "Guys everyone loved the performance last week, Simon even came up to me after the show and told how he was jealous he didn't get the groups, especially you guys. See there was nothing to be afraid of." He said as he looked at me with a wink. "Anyway, you guys know the theme for this week is love songs, right?" He asked and we hooded knowingly. "So I picked Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran. I think it's a good choice for you guys." He said. The song reminded me that Niall and I hadn't kissed yet. I knew he loved me except because of the competition and work we had no alone time. It was terrible. We went to the studio and began working like every other day.

*Tuesday night*

It was the last night of rehearsals before the live show. Our time was almost up before we had to get out of the booth so Kelly could come in with Simon. "Amanda and Steven you guys can go." Niall said. Steven looked confused and Amanda gave me a look. They left and I asked Niall, "what's up?" "Nothing I just wanted to spend some time with you. We haven't gotten to do that much lately and I'm sorry about that. I've been a terrible boyfriend." Niall said with sad look in his eyes. "You a bad boyfriend? Never. You're all I could have asked for." I said witch made Niall smile. Suddenly Niall began to sing, "settle down with me, and cover me up and cuddle me in. Lie down with me and hold me in your arms. And your hearts against my chest your lips pressed to my neck. I'm falling for your eyes but they don't know my yet. And with this feeling ill forget. I'm in love now." The opening lines to kiss me, the song we where singing that week. "Kiss me like you wanna be loved, you wanna be loved, you wanna be loved. This feels like falling in love, falling in love. We're falling in love." We sang together as my solo came. "Settle down with me, and you'll be my safety, and I'll be your lady. I was made to keep to your body warm, but I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms." I sang while looking into his eyes. We finished singing the sing together out faces inches apart. As the song finished his lips crashed unto mine. Our first kiss. It was still sweet but filled with so much more. I saw fireworks. Finally we pulled away and smiled at each other. "I've been wanting to do that for awhile." Niall said. "Why did you wait?" I asked kissing him again. We collected our few things and walked out the door. Immediately we saw Simon and Kelly. My heart sank, they saw everything. Simon looked at Niall and then me disapprovingly. Neither of them said anything as they walked into the booth, though I did get a dirty look from Kelly. I knew she was going to tell everyone. I ran down the hall past Niall. I heard him chasing after me. He caught up with me at the end of the hallway. "Maria who cares that they know about us? I don't care you shouldn't either." He said trying to calm me down. "Niall she's going to tell everyone and people will start sending me hate. I can't go through that again. I was bullied after eighth grade by my best friend. She abandoned me. I can't feel that way again." I said in between tears. "I'll protect you from them. You're my princess ill make sure no one ever hurts you again." I said pulling me into one of his famous Horan hugs. I felt safe. When I was with him no one could hurt me. "I'm going to get some sleep" I said as I left him for the night. I entered my room and saw Amanda, Steph and Sam sitting on my bed. They saw the tear stains on my cheeks and started questioning me. "We'll first off he kissed me. We sang the song together and he kissed me. It was amazing." I said smiling slightly. "NIALL HORAN KISSED YOU AND YOU'RE CRYING?!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" Steph screamed at me. "Oh my gosh calm down. That's not why I'm crying." I said and she calmed down. "Then why are you?" Amanda asked. We left he booth and Simon and Kelly were standing there. They saw everything. Now Kelly is gunna leak it everywhere and Niall will probably get in trouble with Simon." I explained fresh tears surfacing. "I'm going to get hate and I can't go through feeling like that again." I said sobbing in Amanda's shoulder. "They're not worth your time. Neither is Kelly so calm down. Just remember Niall kissed you not her." Sam said, getting me tissues. "So what did Niall say when you started crying?" Steph asked. I knew she would want every detail. "I ran down the hall and he chased me. I caught me and when I told him about the hate and everything he just told me he would always be there to protect me because I'm his princess." I said smiling a little again. "See he loves you. Don't worry what anyone else thinks." Amanda said. While she spoke Steph flung herself on the bed. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You're dating Niall, you're dating zayn, and she's dating Harry, and I'm a potato that's forever alone." She said. "Ok no. You're beautiful and just staying Louis and Liam are both single." I said winking. She rolled her eyes and her and Sam went back to there rooms. The show went perfect. We were through to next week. My dream was coming true and I had the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. Things couldn't get better.
