Chapter 4

PYRO POV

I flew for what seemed like forever. I stopped and landed in some free land. I saw a convenient store and I walked in. All I had on was a muscle tank top, sports bra, combat boots, and some military style pants. I walked to the back of the store looking for something to eat. I hadn’t eaten in three days and I was exhausted. I had 4$ it was all I could save up. I saw some beef jerky and I got some vitamin juice. I went up to buy them and the lady behind the counter stared at me.

“Are you alright? It looks like you’ve been through hell.” She said eying my scars.

“Uhh y-yea and I have been through hell.” I replied my voice hoarse from screaming. I looked over and saw a packet for the military. I picked it up and saw it was the army in Scotland. (A/N just go with it) “Are they recruiting?” I asked

“Uh yea they are, you looking to go into service?” She asked

“Yes, I don’t have anything to lose.” I solemnly replied. She just looked stunned.

“Do you have a phone I could use to call this number?”

“Yes.” I paid for my stuff then she handed me a phone. I called the number and a man answered. “Sargent Miller speaking.” He said in a serious voice. I gathered my courage. “I saw your packet and wanted to join the military.” “Ok, what is your name, age, and location?” “Pyro, I’m 22, and umm…” I looked over at the lady and she mouthed you’re in Louisiana. “Louisiana, I’m in Louisiana.” I mouthed Thank you. She nodded. “Pyro? Unusual name.” “Well sir, I’m an unusual person.” I smiled with my comeback. “Ok. We are sending someone to come get you and a few other people. Give me your address.” I looked at the lady and she passed me a piece of paper with an address on it and I assumed it was hers. I repeated it to her and he said ok and said it would take 4-5 days. Then he hung up.

“Thank you for being so generous.” I told her

“You’re so welcome. I would do anything to help anyone that looks in need.” I soon found out her name was Violet and she was 43. Well looks like im in the military.

*Sorry i havent updated in a while, I found out i have an ulcer in my eye. so yea*
