My hair was slicked back when I stepped out of the shower, I didn't want to go to the sinks, because after all, I was still in the boys lavatory. I hput a protection charm on the curtain though, I didn't want anybody "accidentally" walking in on me showering.
I had gotten into my uniform and had dried my hair and my makeup was done, I opened the curtain and walked to the door. Everyone was staring at me but I wouldn't look at them, Malfoy caught my eye "hey Giggles." I winked at him. He turned and blushed a bit, then looked back and said.
"Last time I checked it doesn't take 2 hours to shower, Bubbles." He smirked, but I threw him a stern look.
"Who said you had to wait."
"oh, I didn't, I actually had enough time to wander through the whole castle before I caught you back here," Blaise shot me a look and shook his head, I laughed and walked to the great hall.
"So you're not going to wait for me," he said and pouted his lips.
"Oh was I supposed to?" I smirked, "but then everybody would think your falling for a low life transfer student who hasn't even been here for a week." I winked at him.
"You're a very interesting girl, you know that?"
"Oh I know, but most people just refer to it as weird, so I guess your "interesting" too." I chuckled.
we arrived at the great hall, Ron, Harry and Hermione were at the door to greet me. it was quiet and awkward until Ron finally said, "Hey Erica, what were you doing walking with the weasel, was he bothering you?"
"Who?" I asked acting confused.
"Malfoy," Hermione chimed in, "why were you walking with Malfoy?"
"I was, I guess it was just a coincidence, I actually had no idea that was Malfoy, I hadn't bothered to look." They all looked at me curiously then nodded. I went to the Slytherin table and sat behind the trio so I could still chat with them while eating breakfast. I could hear behind me Malfoy was talking to a group of people, he told them to watch what he was about to do.
"Hey, bubbles, bubbles, I know you can hear me." I ignored them.
"Who do you think Malfoy's trying to talk to, and who on earth would he be calling them Bubbles," Harry asked us all, Ron and Hermione shook their heads in confusion.
"Bubbles, come on." People started to laugh.
"What do you want Malfoy." I stared him dead in the eye.
"Is it true that you showered in the boys lavatory?" He asked, he knew the answer but I'm assuming he asked for the others huddled around him.
"Wouldn't everyone like to know," I gave him a stone-cold look, "Why don't you ask Malfoy, everybody, he would know." I gave him a smirk.
"Bubbles?!" Ron almost yelled, "Malfoy has given you a pet name. So you were lying earlier when you said you weren't talking to him."
"I-."
"Why would you lie?"
"Be-."
"There are better things to do than lie Erica."
"I'm s-."
"Harry don't even, you lie all the time. But still Erica this was unnecessary, you didn't have to lie."
"Well I-."
"This is unreal, why would you lie to us, Erica."
"If you would just-."
"So what are you guys a couple."
"No, bu-."
"Is he bothering you?"
"Can you just listen to me for one second?!" I yelled, the whole great hall went silent. "Just drop it, I'll tell you about it later."
I continued breakfast, but id lost my appetite. Draco noticed me picking at my food, so did the trio. They didn't say anything, just stared. I got fed up with it, I got out of my seat and walked out of the great hall. I didn't know where I was going until I found a hallway, I may not have known the school very well but I knew this hallway was the way to the astronomy tower. I knew I should've gone to class, but I was so fed up with everybody, and I had no idea where transfiguration was, so I just went to the astronomy tower.
The sky was clear, the view was better when you could see it, the sun reflected off of the water, the rays felt warm against my face, the trees were a vibrant red/ orange, as well as the ground covered in leaves. the breeze was chilly but nothing a sweater couldn't fix. As I stared out at the view ahead of me, I remembered Draco, sitting here beside me last night, the moon making his skin glow, his ice-blue eyes, a sparkling grey against the moon, soft lips, beautiful chiseled defiant features. His peppermint/ apple aroma, although it was masked by the smell of whisky at the time.
"Arent you supposed to be in class?" I jolted my head back towards the person behind me.
"Peeves, what are you doing here."
"I just saw you walk up here and thought you were up to no good."
"Well now you saw, you can leave now."
"What's the matter doll? You seem angry about something."
"It's none of your business Peeves, please leave."
"Fine, but don't expect me not to tell Filch."
"Peeves, please don't, I'm really not in the mood to deal with anyone right now."
"Fine," he sighed, "I'll let you off, again. but don't expect me to keep saving your butt. you're on your own from now on doll." I nodded my head as he left the room, and I was left alone with my thoughts keeping me company, staring out at the beautiful view before me.
