Walking beside Treyala, Arya fiddled with her fingers. What happened to Grimm? She remembered how he said he could come back after death, but how it worked, she didn't know.
Treyala looked over at Arya and saw she was worried. Wrapping her arm around her, she said cheerfully, "What ever is on your mind, you can share with me, I am you friend after all now, and I will protect you, whether you wish it our not."
Arya gave a weak smile, "Thanks," she said weakly. "So why were you out there? I've ment to ask," Arya said dryly.
"Well you see, I was collecting herbs for an injured fellow."
Arya raised a brow, "What's his kind?"
Treyala giggled, "No worries, he's Animila."
Arya let out a sigh of relief.
"You know little one, not all humans are bad," Treyala scratched Aryas head.
"Uh huh, sure, keep saying that," Arya didn't want to believe what Treyala said.
After half an hour of walking, the two stopped before a wall of vines.
"Through here," Treyala walked past the vines into a cave.
Arya followed in behind. It was dark for quite awhile, then ahead, there was light. Entering the room filled with light, it was like an oasis. Trees lined the outside, but the room was small. As you walk forward, than land rises, forming a small hill. On top, was a big ol' oak tree, and underneath, a man was sitting against the tree, facing the other way.
Sneaking up to him, Treyala wrapped her arms around him, "I'm back young one!"
The man snarled, "Could you not," he coughed in pain.
"Oh yes, I have the herbs," she rounded to his front, placed her hands against the stab wounds on his chest. Healing it with her vines and the herbs she consumed, his wound was patched. "It should be fully healed in a day or two.
"Thank fuck," he got up anyways and saw Arya, "Who's this disgrace," he growled, claws extending out his hands.
Arya looked at the man, he stood tall, lots of her on his arms, probably a half-wolf breed. Looking at his face, he wore and odd device which one would have never expected to see. It was on half his face, and had two valve looking things, does air go in or of them, she wondered. His hair was short and gray, he also wore a wierd hat on his head, covering his secondary ears. Examining his eyes, they were a hazel-nut colour, very contradicting to his vibe. "What's that odd hat and mask you're wearing?"
Touching his mask, "Gase mask, keeps me alive," then his hat, "A beanie, because I like it."
Arya has never seen or heard of these things before. "Where did it come from?"
"You know where I got these injuries?" He grinned, "From that old fart bag," the man turned.
"See, humans aren't nothing good, we ought rid our home of 'em," Arya was shouting over at Treyala.
She sighed, "Don't listen to Jack, oh by the way lovely, his names Jack Lockhart if you didn't know, but besides this silly mans name," Jack sat back down, head down as well. "Not all humans are bad, they must be like the other kindred, some bad apples, other not so much. Like tell me, are all elves good?"
Arya raised a finger, "But elves don't eradicate a hole race! Elves don't just hate another for breathing! You wouldn't understand," a root grabbed Arya by the leg and raised her off her feet and upside down, dropping the cloak, "Hey! What are you doing!"
Treyala's hair was flowing up, like if the wind was blowing it upwards, "I wouldn't understand?" She sounded furious, "Do you know what happened to my home, and all I was suppose to protect?"
Arya nodded no, slowly, as if a fast movement would make Treyala rip her in half.
Jack was now on his stomach, watching with great intent.
"Murdered, all of them! The humans you hate, strolled in, asked for our help, we said no, then they burned us alive and our home!" She wasn't happy.
"I'm sorry, I didn't kn-" Treyala dropped Arya and walked up to the oak tree.
"Only reason I'm alive, is because I decided to ignore my duties, and run off with an elf, thought he wanted to be friends, but he was just bait...." she morphed into the oak tree, and was gone.
"Look what you did, you made scary, strong woman go away!" Jack swung his hand at her, "And if she so easily raised you upside down like that, I doubt you can take on enemies hard for her to deal with!"
Arya felt stupid. Normally she was always calm collective, cool, but ever since she ment Grimm, shes just, confused. Her parents died, alone she was. Her adoptive mother died, alone again. Her partner is gone, alone again. Now who she thought she could ask help from, ones crazy, other she pisses off. Good job me, yay me, she thought sarcastically.
Reemerging from the tree was Treyala, this time with clothes. Jack and Arya stared, as she tossed the clothes at Arya.
Examine them, they looked to be what Treyala was wearing, just better fit for Arya. Putting on the Leafy attire, and cloak over, she walked over to Treyala, "I'm really so-" she put her fingers against Arya's lips.
"Shut the hell up, we're all leaving, now."
As the Treyala began walking, Arya and Jack so followed.
Jack, being who he is, raised his arm weakly in the air, "Yay, go team," he said weakly as the three exited the cave.
