I sat there scrolling through insta. A picture of her popped up. Jhené Aiko. A simple selfie.

Her little smile was gorgeous. She's just something else.

I liked the picture and commented "Wow 😍" went about my business. Moments Later I got a Dm.

JhenéAiko: Heyy Love, How You Been?

Jhené's pov:
I received a like from an account along with others but this account stood out. (Your Insta Name)... I clicked the account. "No way..." I said to myself. This is Y/n.. WOW SHE LOOKS AMAZING. I scrolled through her insta. Her smile. Fuck I miss that smile. I decided to DM her, HOPING she'd reply. That was my college sweetheart and I'd do anything to see her again.

Y/n's pov:
My heart began to race. Why'd she dm me? Does she know its me? How does she know its me? Well its insta and pics of me but we havent seen each other since Graduation. My palms became sweaty. Lemme explain why

*flashback: Last Year In College*

"Jhenééééé." I said smiling. "Whatttt?" She asked looking at me. "You're beautiful." I said. She smiled and looked down blushing. "Thank you." She said with a smile. "Better not forget me when you become famous and shit." I said. "Never my love." She said and gave me a kiss.

*months later*

I sat down listening to her music. She's becoming famous... Im beyond proud of her. I just wish our relationship worked out as well. Jhené and I broke up two months ago and boiii am I hurt. I miss her smile. I miss her voice. I miss the way she laughs. I just fucking miss her.

*end of flashback*

I clicked the dm and replied "you remember me??"

I was genuinely curious and honestly thought she forgot about who I am. I left the message alone and went about my business again.

I sat there REALLY confused but I text her. I didnt think I'd get a response.

Y/n: Uh Hey Its Y/n
Jhené: Heyyyy
Y/n: Wassup
Jhené: Just chillin, pull through. I'll send the address

I grabbed my stuff and drove to the house. I parked and walked to the door.

Jhené's pov:
"She here baby." Sean said. "Ahhh. How I look?" I asked. "Beautiful. Why does that matter?" He asked scrunching his eyesbrows. Uh. Shit. "Oh just dont wanna look a mess for the guest." I said. I opened the door and she stood there smiling. "Hey." She said. "Hi.." I let out. I was captured by her beauty. She's dressed in baggy clothes but still looks beautiful.

"Oh please come in." I said letting her in. "Beautiful home." She said.

Y/n's pov:
"Thank you.." She said closing the door. "Hello Im Sean. Im Jhené's boyfriend." A guy said. My smile slightly disappeared. "Y/n." I said. "This is Namiko.. my daughter." Jhené said. "Hello." She said. "Hi sweetie." I said.

After a minute or so, Sean and Nami as she likes to be called went about their business leaving Jhené and I alone.

"So how have you been?" She asked. "Ive been good. You?" I asked. "Great." She said. "Man I missed you." She said and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back and my heart sank. The love I felt years ago came back. I hadn't been faced with her since our break up. "I missed you to.." I managed to get out.

*time passes*

After hours of talking and laughing, I had to leave. "Awwe come around again. My house is always home to you now that we're friends again." She said. "Same to you Jhené." I said. "Ayee one more thing..." She said. "Mhmm?" I asked. "I never forgot about you. I could never forget my first love." She said and smiled. "Same Jhené. Im here for anything." I said. I gave her a hug and left. I cant believe she's back in my life.

*6 months later*

I sat there watching tv with Jhené. "Y/nnnnnnnn." She said. "Whattttt?" I asked looking at her. "You're beautiful." She said with a smile. I smiled and looked down. "Thank you." I said. "Crazy how 6 months ago, I was inna relationship with a man and now Im single with a lil boo thang." She said. "Who? You fucking Sean again?" I asked. She playfully rolled her eyes and moved closer to me. "What?" I asked. "I just want you." She said with a smile. "Better." I said making her giggle. She leaned in and kissed me.
