Alya: *looks at her watch* it's been an hour and Adrien still hasn't shown up!
Marinette: somethings happened i know it! i need to go find him!
Nino: no, he'll turn up, Mari...

Alya: i'll get it... *gets up and goes to answer the front door*
Nino: *sits next to Marinette* everything's going to be okay...
Alya: *opens the door*
Adrien: *drunk* ayyyyyy, Alya!
Alya: oh no...
Adrien: *wobbly* woah... did your cat run past me or something?
Alya: Adrien, you're drunk?!
Adrien: pfft, no. *carries on drinking*
Alya: ADRIEN! *takes away the bottle, feels the weight* this is half empty! how many have you drank?!
Adrien: 2 *holds up 5 fingers, looks at them* wait...
Alya: Marinette's going to freak!
Adrien: ahh, that's it! I was looking for my girl.... HEY MARINETTE! *walks in*
Alya: no no no no no no no no....
Adrien: *walks into the living room*
Marinette: *sees him, smiles big* ADRIEN WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! *goes to hug him*
Adrien: WASSSUPPP BITCH!
Marinette: *stops, sniffs* what... have you... *gasps* HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING?!
Adrien: no. *nods his head*
Marinette: *tears start to fall* how much?
Alya: 2 apparently and he had this with him. *gives her the bottle*
Marinette: *takes it, feeling the weight* ADRIEN!
Adrien: *wobbles over to the buffet* i need a drink...
Marinette: *stares in shock* this is all because of your father, isn't it?
Nino: *walks up to him, whispers* dude, was those the alcohol you brought for me and Alya?
Adrien: yes and it was gooood. *pokes his nose*
Marinette: *walks over to him* Adrien.... look at me....
Adrien: yes, wassup babe? *tries to lean on the table but nearly falls*
Nino: *stops him*
Marinette: i don't like drunk Adrien...
Adrien: *laughs a little* ha... get used to it... *takes the bottle from her and drinks it*
Marinette: *a tear falls* you... you prick...
Alya: Are you fucking kidding me, Agreste?!
Adrien: *stops drinking* what?
Marinette: *takes the drink from him and walks to the front door*
Adrien: hey! *walks after her*
Marinette: *goes outside and throws the alcohol onto the road, causing a car to swerve a little*
Adrien: *falls against the door but manages to keep his balance* what the fuck was that for?!
Marinette: fuck you and your fucking alcohol! i'm leaving! and don't contact me! *crying whilst running away*
Alya: *runs a little after her but stops* Mari...
Adrien: *watches her leave, starts to feel bad*
⏰SATURDAY 9:06am:
(WITH MARINETTE LEAVING THE BAKERY)
Luka: *riding past on his bike, sees Marinette, stops* Marinette?
Marinette: *turns around, eyes widen* Luka?! wow.... long time no see...
Luka: yeah.... so.... how you've been?
Marinette: oh, good... yeah.... um... how's your job?
Luka: good, ya know. really loving it.
Marinette: *smiles*
Luka: where you heading off to?
Marinette: well... it's mine and Adrien's anniversary today but... we had a fight last night so i guess that's off... but i got an event to go to.
Luka: oh, okay, yeah, i also have a place to be too so um....
Marinette: yeah....
Luka: hey... maybe after your event.... do you wanna... perhaps.... catch up?
Marinette: sure! yeah, that be great!
Luka: *smiles at her* great... see you around, Marinette. *rides off on his bike*
Marinette: *waves him off, takes a deep breath and takes out the card she got yesterday, reading it again, she nods her head* an escape room is just what i need... *walks off*
⏰SATURDAY 9:17am:
(AT THE AGRESTE MANSION, IN ADRIEN'S BEDROOM)
Adrien: *on his bed, slowly wakes up, holding his head* ow...
Nathalie: *walks in, holding a tray with his breakfast on it* good morning, Adrien.
Adrien: *sits up* wha... what happened...?
Nathalie: you were drunk.... Nino brought you home.... *puts his breakfast on the table by the TV*
Adrien: drunk?!
Nathalie: *nods and leaves*
Adrien: *slowly gets out of bed, holding his head*
Nino: *standing by the bathroom door, swinging his keys* you took your time to wake up...
Adrien: *jumps a little*
Nino: *slowly walks towards him* dude... you need to see someone...
Adrien: i don't understand.... i was clean for 6 months! how did.... *realises* shit...
Nino: how about you stop visiting your father and start seeing a therapist pronto?
Adrien: *realises something* Nino.... what happened to Marinette?
Nino: *sighs* you hurt her man.... you broke her heart.... you made promises you couldn't keep.... she hated seeing you drunk last night that she walked out on you...
Adrien: *a single tear falls* i... i hurt her?!
Nino: she... she told you to not contact her anytime soon...
Adrien: *facepalms* shit... i fucked up real bad, didn't i?
Nino: listen, i could tell you more but i have somewhere to be so i'll see you around, dude. *leaves*
Adrien: *watches him leave and glances over at a picture on his bedside table, picks it up and looks at it* i'm sorry mother.... i tried my best... i couldn't make you proud.... i hurt the one i love the most... i'm nothing but a failure... *puts the picture in his pocket and walks over to his bag, opens it and takes out the card he got yesterday, reads it again and thinks* oh... why not? *gets up and leaves*
