💀 CHAPTER SEVEN 💀

*The gang go through the door into the next room*
Host: make yourself at home. the next will start momentarily...
Alya: this is fucking vile! we need to call the police!
Luka: our phones don't have signal.
Marinette: I need to sit down.
Luka: there's a sofa over there.
Adrien: wait! what if that sofa is trapped?!
Luka: ahh, yes... you've got a point...
Nino: how about sitting on the floor? pretty sure that isn't trapped?
Marinette: *goes to a corner and sits down against the wall*
Adrien: I know I shouldn't keep bringing this up but can we just discuss what just happened last round?!
Alya: yeah, like, if Chloe got the lowest score, why didn't the host say her name?
Nino: the host said they made a mistake.
Adrien: or did they?! what if they did that on purpose?! why does the host want to get rid of me?
Luka: we'll talk about this later but for now we have to prepare for the next game... one of us is next.
Marinette: *covering her face, sniffles*
Adrien: *hears her* um... you guys mind if talk to Marinette?
Luka: na, go ahead.
Adrien: *smiles a little and walks over to Marinette and kneels* hey...
Marinette: *looks up and wipes her tears* hey...
Adrien: I know the real reason why you're upset and I'm here if you wanna talk about it... whilst also giving you my apologies.
Marinette: *sighs, pats the floor next to her* you don't need to give any apologies...
Adrien: *sits next to her*
Marinette: I'm the one that needs to apologise to you, I-
Adrien: no you were right, i knew seeing my father would trigger my alcoholism and I still went... but... I don't feel bad about visiting my father... I feel bad that I hurt you. I swore to myself that I would never hurt you and if I did I have to feel bad about it. Now that's what I'm feeling and I don't ever want to feel like this!
Marinette: Adrien...
Adrien: I know I fucked up. I'm sorry. And I know I've used up all my chances... I guess what I'm saying is that there's a possibility that out of us two, one of us will die and... I don't want it to be you.
Marinette: *gets teary eyed*
Adrien: if I don't make it out of here and you do, I hope you find the perfect man...
Marinette: *Wipes her tears* Adrien, I--
Adrien: it's going to be okay...
Marinette: *looks at him, smiles a little and rests her head on his shoulder*
Luka: *watching them, sighs and looks back at the group*
Alya: *groans* why is this taking so long! it'll be Christmas by the time the round starts!
Nino: *pulls out phone, gasps* I HAVE SIGNAL!
Adrien & Marinette: *stands up* FINALLY!
Luka: call the police!!!
Nino: *goes to hit dial but hesitates* wait...
Alya: what?
Nino: how did we suddenly get signal? kind of sus isn't it?
Alya: oh just dial Nino, this isn't "among us"!
Nino: but Alya this could be a trap!
Adrien: I have to agree with Nino on this one.
Luka: same.
Alya: *looks at Marinette* what do you think, Marinette?
Marinette: I.... uh.... have to agree too.
Alya: ugh! not everything is a trap!
Nino: in this place, yes! Alya, we shouldn't risk it.
Alya: fine.... ill do it then... *pulls out her phone*
Nino: ALYA NO!
Alya: *walks to the corner and dials*
Nino: ALYA STOP!
Alya: *lets it ring*
*A sudden noise starts to sound, almost sounding like rocks falling*
Nino: ALYA STOP! I CANT LET YOU DIE!
Alya: *ignoring him*
*a hole in the roof above her opens up*
Nino: ALYA MOVE!
Alya: *looks up*
Marinette: *gasps, hides her face in Adrien's chest*
Adrien: *gently holds her*
Nino: *runs towards her*
Luka: NINO NO! *runs after him and tackles him*
*rocks begin to fall and crush Alya as she hides her face*
Nino: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Marinette: *peeps through her fingers and begins to cry*
Adrien: *holds her close*
Luka: *gets up*
Nino: *stands up, with tears in his eyes, looks at Luka* YOU FUCKING DICKHEAD! I WAS GONNA SAVE HER! *pushes him*
Luka: woah woah woah, you were gonna get crushed too! I couldn't let both of you die!
Nino: *gets close to his face* FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I WAS GONNA PUSH HER OUT OF THE WAY AND TAKE THE CRUSH BUT YOU FUCKING INTERRUPTED AND GOT HER KILLED! SO GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T KILL YOU NOW!
Adrien: GUYS YOURE MAKING MARINETTE UPSET!
Nino: Dude, he—-
Adrien: i know what he did and yes, he shouldn't have done it but he was just being a friend!
Nino: he's not a friend, he's a girlfriend killer! you would feel the same as he tried to steal ya girl!
Luka: *smirks* wow, i do one thing and you automatically think i'm the bad guy...
Nino: you are! no one wants you here! not even Marinette! so do us a favour and kill yourself next round! *pushes him and walks to a corner*
Luka: haha.. yeah... fuck you too. *walks to another corner*
Marinette: *wipes her tears*
Adrien: are you okay, Mari?
Marinette: i'm scared...
Adrien: *holds her close, whispers* me too...
