Chapter 2: My life without you

Jennie's POV

I woke up with the sun shining through my window. It was very bright. I stood up. I felt very empty. I felt so empty inside that I can't be bothered to do things but, I had to do it. I went to the bathroom and washed up. After washing up, I went out of my room to eat. When I went to the kitchen, I saw all my favourite foods. Kimchi fried rice, pancakes, milk ice cream, and many more. Then I saw the members sitting in the dining table. I sat beside Lisa and asked her,

"What's all this? They are all my favourites."

Lisa then smiled and said,
"We want to make you feel better, so we woke up early and cooked all of your favourite foods except the milk ice cream. We bought that."

I was in the verge of crying. They did this for me? How could I lie to them now? I sighed. You just need to pull yourself together Kim Jennie.

Jisoo broke the silence saying,
"Come on, eat. The food is getting cold."

I immediately grabbed my utensil. Rosé then said,
"Let's eat!!!"

I started with the kimchi fried rice with pork. It was good. The spiciness of the kimchi, along with the saltiness of the pork made it delicious. I also got some pancakes after finishing the rice. The pancakes were fluffy, and I love the whipped cream on top. I also got myself some ramen. It was good. With the half-boiled egg, I loved it much more. Then, I finished it of with some milk flavoured ice cream.

After the meal, we all went to our rooms to get ready. We agreed on going to the lake today. I agreed because the lake is the perfect place to relax and think things through. So I picked up a few outfits.

I choose a turtleneck sweater with a coat and leggings paired with lace heel boots.

I was ready. I went out and saw the others.
Jisoo was wearing a simple white shirt and some black sweatpants with a black bucket hat.

She still looked pretty even with the simple outfit.
Lisa was wearing a vintage shirt with jeans and sneakers.

Rosé was wearing a black crop top with grey sweatpants and white sneakers.

I immediately broke the silence by saying,
"Wow! We are all about comfort today. You guys are all about comfort. I even wore heels!"

They looked at me and laughed. We then went downstairs and went inside the car with our manager. They were telling cheesy jokes and stuff while I took my phone and texted Kai.

Jennie: Baby, what are you doing?
Kai: Nothing much, you?
Jennie: We are going to the lake. Rosé suggested it because a new restaurant nearby opened.😂
Kai: I'm not even surprised😂😂😂

I quietly smiled. I missed this. My thoughts were interrupted by Jisoo. She said,
"Why are you smiling? Lisa's jokes aren't even funny."

I panicked but them said,
"It's kinda funny you know."

Jisoo looked at me suspiciously but then said,
"If Lisa's corny jokes are gonna make you laugh the so be it."

Lisa the throwed some corny jokes on me, and I have to admit, it was kinda funny.
