"Yesterday morning at around 9:30 am," reported a news reporter, "our beloved king, King Brock, killed his wife and is also thought to be responsible of the drowning of his father, and his brother and daughters disappearance."
Jacob was watching the news when he heard that. He knew that he had to do something, but the king had disappeared. No one could seem to find him.
Although Jacob didn't find the king, he found someone laying in an alleyway near his house. She was unconscious, she'd been dumped there. It was about 3:30 in the morning. He moved closer to get a better look. She was cut on her neck, arms, and thighs. At least that was the cuts he could see, there was blood all her. He continued to look closer, and fell to his knees.
"No! No, no, no!" He screamed the moment he realized who he was looking at. "Nicole! Wake up! You have to wake up!" She lay motionless in a pool of blood. "No! I love you!" Still there was no response. However, Jacob noticed a very slight movement in her chest. She was breathing, and was rushed to the hospital.
"It's too late! I didn't find her in time," Jacob said to himself aloud. "Mr. Harrison, sir. I'm afraid I've got some bad news," said a nurse who had just walked in. "She's alive, but sadly, she won't wake up."
"What? Where is she? I need to see her," he asked. "Okay, follow me," she said. She took him in the room that Nicole was in. He walked over to her bed, and she still had the stab and cut wounds. All he did was grab her hand, and give her a kiss. Then he left after telling the nurse that he'd be back tomorrow, he had to go home. The next day when he came back. He was horrified.
