Kat's P.O.V.

"Why the hell are you wet?" Claire,my stylist asked as soon as I sat down on the seat in front of the mirror in my trailer.

"Well, my revenge just so happened to include water." I smirked.

"Oh God, when are you two going to stop acting like a couple of twelve year old's. I'm serious, on of these pranks are going to go terribly wrong." she said letting out a laugh.

"Oh, don't be such a buzz-kill." I pouted. Claire just shook her head smiling before she spoke again.

"Anyways, you should seriously put on some dry clothes before you get sick or anything."

"I'm not going to get sick." I crossed my arms in front of me like a stubborn kid.

"I hope not. Anyways, let's get you ready for the next scene." and with that Claire started putting on my make up. Luckily the next scene we were about to shoot was the one, where all the wine bottles start flying around, and I was supposed to have wet hair and look....terrible. So I didn't get to change into warm, dry clothes for about 5 hours, so I guess that didn't help with me trying to not get sick. But I highly doubt that, I have a really strong immunity.

When we were done I quickly said goodbye to everyone and headed home.

~The next morning~

I woke up smiling to the sun shining and birds chirping.....NOT! When I woke up, I felt absolutely terrible. I couldn't breath through my nose and my throat felt like someone was dragging knives through it each time I swallowed. Plus I was pretty sure I had a fever.

'No,no no no no! This can't be happening! I can't be sick. I have 9 hours of filming today!' I mumbled to myself feeling a panic attack coming on.

"Okay, I'll just have to suck it up and go to work. It's not like I haven't done that before." And that was true. Once, I had the flu for about 5 days, but because I needed the money, I went to work. Although, that didn't end too well, since at the fifth day I collapsed and was dragged to the hospital... Okay, that's not going to happen. Perhaps, I'm not actually sick, maybe If I power through it, I'l be better!

And with that little pep talk to myself, I went over to my vanity. I almost jumped at the reflection. My skin was extremely pale and my under eyes could easily give a little kid nightmares.

Well, thank God for make up!.

After I was finished, I went into the kitchen to see, that Alice had prepared pancakes for both of us. Wait, somethings not right. She only cooks when she has bad news...

"What's going on?" I asked her with my raspy voice.

"Nothing." she chirped, her voice octaves higher than normal. "Can't a good friend cook breakfast for her bestie." she smiled handing me a fork as I sat down.''Who seems to be sick, how are you feeling?" she added with concern in her voice.

"First of all, I'm not sick. I can't be." I sternly answered sniffing the pancakes. The smell that usually would make my mouth water, now made me want to puke. So I quickly pushed them away. She gave me a questioning look raising her brow.

"What? I'm not that hungry." I defended myself.

"Sure." she dragged sarcastically and I shot her a glare.

"And I know you only cook for me when you have bad news, so cut the crap and tell me whats wrong." I demanded and her smile faltered.

"Okay.." she took a deep breath "You know that Matt's family lives in Texas, right?" I nodded  "So he's visiting and he wanted me to come with him." she said questioningly her head down .

"So, that's great, for how long?" I asked relived that her bad new weren't so bad after all.

"For a month..." she glanced up at me.

"Oh." I breathed a little taken back.

"I know that it's long, I can cancel if you don't want me to go-" she quickly interjected

"No, you should go. You could spend quality time with him and his parents." I stoped her from mumbling appologies.

"Really, are you sure? I mean If you-"

"I'm sure. You should go, you deserve this!" I smiled a reassuring smile to her "I'll take care of myself."

"I love you! I love you! I love you!! " she squealed jumping up and hugging me in excitement. We jumped together until I started to feel sick. I quickly pealed myself from her and my hand shot to my mouth.

"Sorry." She winced "Wait, are you sure, you want to go to work today? You look..... terrible." She took a step back examining me.

"Gee thanks!" I said sarcastically "And yes, I have to go. Othervise I might get fired."

"Highly doubt that, but anyways I better start packing." I kissed her cheek and started gathering my things "Oh by the way, when are you leaving?" I asked over my shoulder.

"He's picking me up in a couple of hours." she answered all chipper. but then she glanced at me and frowned. "No, I can't leave you like this, someone needs to take care of you."

"I'll be fine." I poured myself some coffee in a to-go cup and stuffed my bag with all of the medicaments, that help with having a cold. "Trust me." I gave her another reasuring smile.

"Ok, but if anything happens call me. Actually, call me even if nothing happens. Ahh I'm so excited." she said jumping around. God, how jelous I was of her energy right now.

"Okay, love you. Bye" I hugged her and headed out the door. Okay, now all I need to do is get through this day and not die.

I jumped in my car and went to set.
