I yawned as I slowly opened my sore eyes from my 4-hour long sleep, which seemed more like a nap.

I stretched causing an enjoyable pain in my spine. I looked around my small bedroom to see the boxes scattered along the floor, I sighed, I have been in the UK for 3 days and only unpacked my computer. I frowned knowing I had to finish unpacking today.

I got up out of bed and didn't even bother to change into something else. I opened up a box with the label "Bedroom Accessories".  I grabbed the youtooz I had and placed them on my shelf next to my desk, sorting everything in the box, finding them all a new home on the shelf, wall, etc.

I got to the bottom of the box to see a colorful, thin felt. I smiled and pulled it out revealing a large rainbow pride flag. I grabbed some pin tacks and pinned up the flag above the small backboard of my bed. I walked back and smiled at my work and looked around the room, everything was sorted and clean.

I looked at my phone and went to google. Places hiring near me. I scrolled through all the options before settling on a local Starbucks, mostly for the cake pops I can sneak in my bag.

I changed into a sweater and some jeans before leaving the apartment to go ask for the job. I've never really had a job since my parents paid almost everything for me, but now that I've moved out it's time to do things on my own.

I arrived at the front of the shop which was at the corner of a busy street. I smiled and walked in, inhaling the scent of baked goods and coffee grinds as well as enjoying the warmth the shop carried.

"Hello, I noticed you were hiring." I walked up to the counter to be greeted by a girl who looked around my age and the same height. She looked up and smiled, "Yeah! I'm assuming you want a job here?" I nodded, silently chuckling to myself as I imagined a scenario when I respond with 'no' and leave.

She smiled and asked for my email to which I happily gave to her. I'm usually not too much of a joyful person, but I needed to look friendly enough to get the job.

She sent me a link to a website where I needed to insert my resume and all that boring application stuff.

"Thank you, anyways, can I have a cake pop and a strawberry açai?" She nodded and pointed at the 3 cake pops on display, "Which one?" I pointed at the fox looking one, "The Fox."

I watched as she grabbed the stick of it with a napkin and placed it on the back counter as she prepared my drink.

I got everything in less than 2 minutes and paid her with a £3 tip. I sat down outside of the building and pulled my laptop out of my backpack I was wearing, making it seem like I was still in school.

I filled out the questions since this was basically like a 'virtual interview'. I found it kind of funny knowing that I was right outside of the building, but oh well.

It lasted around an hour of answering boring questions before I was hired, I chuckled at how surprisingly easy, and quick it all happened. I just moved in 3 days ago and already got a job, look at me go!

I hopped up out of my chair and realized I still had half of my drink and a full cake pop. I grinned and took a photo of the cake pop and tweeted it to my friend Fundy. I scrolled through and could see a new tweet from the DreamTeam.

I quietly gasped and went to their account to see a link in their bio

I quietly gasped and went to their account to see a link in their bio.

I pressed it and frowned, almost all the seats were taken, and the only ones left were way too expensive and near the back. I closed my phone and sighed, I've never been to a concert before and I was hoping my first one would be the Dream Team but oh well.

I got out of my seat and the sun was still shining and there was still a few hours before it would start to become dark.

I walked around for an hour or so exploring the area, I found several new restaurants, buildings, a museum and a large open park which had a lot of flowers, you could probably mistake it for a garden on the outside.

I heard some distant squeals and screams of what seemed to be around 7 people. I got curious and trotted towards the noise and as I turned the corner I could see a large group of people crowding around something.

I walked closer trying to see what all the commotion was about. I got elbowed by some people while I tried to walk into the group, causing me to be pushed out. They were all crowded on the sidewalk, so as I walked backward I tripped off the curb and fell on the ground, slightly scrapping my palms.

I sat up and gently rubbed my thumb over my palm causing a throbbing, stinging pain. I whimpered quietly and could see some checkered vans walk to the side of me, "You okay?" I heard a deep, calming voice come from the right of me. I looked up to see someone wearing a black hoodie and some jeans smiling at me with his hand held out as an offer to help me up.

I softly laid my hand on top of his and he pulled me off of the ground causing my hand to sting more from the applied pressure. I grinned at the act of kindness and looked up at him realizing the height difference, "You're tall." I noted out loud as I looked at the features on his face; Black eyes, tan skin, light brown hair that is probably dyed, and a bandaid on his nose. "Haha, yeah." he chuckled at my comment, "Or your just short." He held his hand flat out and placed it on my head comparing heights.

I rolled my eyes and rubbed my hip, it still aching from the fall. "You alright?" He asked as he looked me up and down. "Yeah, thanks." I smiled and I was rewarded with one back.
