How To Write A Sad Story

I'd say covers are one of the most important parts of the story. But the hard part is how do you do it right? When most people write sad storys, the covers tend to get taken down because of content in the cover is to explicit for some viewers. Such as a bloody weapon. So here are some great cover ideas for sad stories!

Storyline : someone gets pretty sick, and is very close to dying.
Maybe a empty hospital bed. This cover shouldn't be taken down because as long as there isn't blood or something on it, the cover can still show what kind of story it is.

Storyline : A girl that feels like she is just a disappointment to her family, and she feels she is always messing up.
A great idea could be a stack of papers with a big F circled in red. this can show the girl is getting bad grades, and normally most people don't like F's and it can be a disappointing.

Storyline : A very sad person, who just feels that they have no meaning in life, and that they are just a waste of space.
For me, these kind of stories are the hardest to find covers, because a lot of people like to do something that is apparently inappropriate for Wattpad. So I would just do a character/person crying. This is a great idea because it is just someone crying.

Storyline : a insecure person (i don't know how else to explain further.)
A great cover idea could be someone hiding their face. This can show how someone could be insecure about how their face looks. This could be someone with their face hiding in their knees, or someone with a face covering on.
