-reader's pov-

I was walking to the park, it was a Saturday and I didn't have anything to do.

When I get there I spot someone who look familiar. Turns out it was Denki, we are in the same class: class 1-a.

I speed walk up to him,"hey Kaminari!"

I must of surprised him because he jumped a little when I spoke.

"Oh hey y/n! How are you?" He asked

"I'm good, pretty bored though," I say in a tired tone.

"Well we are at the park, might as well play on the play set," he said. God sometimes he can such a child. But of course I wasn't going to give up the chance to play like a kid again.

We spend the next hour playing games and just goofing around. We yelled at by a Karen saying that we are too old to be playing on a kids playground, and that we need to leave.

We just laughed and ignored her.

We were heading to a cafe down the street. It was around noon and we were getting hungry. He said he was going to pay, but I already know he probably doesn't have his wallet with him.

"Go ahead and get what you want, it's on me," he said in an over dramatic voice, trying to sound a prince charming.

I just replied with,"do you even have your wallet?"

He checks his pockets and low and behold, no wallet.

"No Denki, go ahead get what you want. It's on me," I day in a teasing tone.

He just pouts, he promised he would eventually pay me back.

-denki's pov-

I wanted to seem like a gentle man and pay for them, but I didn't bring my wallet with me. God I'm so dumb, every chance I get to make a move on them, it gets ruined.

"Don't pout Denki, it's ok. Just make sure you don't forget next time," y/n said with their smile I love so much.

Yeah um, secrets out I guess. I have a fat crush on y/n, I have since the 2nd week of school. But I'm to scared to tell them, Kiri just says to man up and do it, Bakugou said to just give up on my dream, and Mina said she would do it for me if I didn't do it anytime soon.

I'm going to try and do it today. Key word try, I'm worried I'll stumble on my words and sound stupid.

When we finally get our food we go and sit down at one of the outdoor seating areas.

"So I'm y/n?" I ask trying to get their attention.

"Yeah what's up Kaminari?"

"Um, I don't know how to say this, but um.  Do you maybe want to go out sometime?"

"But Denki we are out right now," they chuckle a bit.

"Okay I know, but I'm saying that maybe out like be my partner type of going out. Y'know?" I say being a bit more specific about what I'm trying to say.

"Oh, um. Well I don't know what to say," y/n said a bit flustered and shocked.

I continue rambling,"it's just I've liked you for a long time and I was always to scared to say anything because I was scared you would reject or I would sound dumb."

"I like you too, I've actually liked you for a couple months now," they said scratching the back of their neck awkwardly.

"So is that a yes to you being my partner?" I ask excitedly

"Um sure," y/n said.

I lean in and kiss them, but I seemed to miss because I accidentally kissed y/n ear.

"Oh, um sorry. I wasn't paying attention, I've also never been in a relationship before," I say a bit embarrassed.

"It's ok, we'll learn together," they said grabbing my hand and smiling sweetly at me.

At that's was the beginning of the best days of my life. I hope to live through it all with y/n (I know it may sound a bit forward but I mean it!)
