BACKGROUND STORY: Born on February 25, 1998 in Kyōtanabe, Kyoto, Japan to her parents, Yamada Hana and Yamada Hidemitsu. Her mother stated she liked to sing at a young age but never was really font of it. She didn't really take it seriously until she was casted while with her mom. She was casted by SM Entertainment but later left the company because her family was struggling with money. But her dad told her to not worry and go back to korea and start training again. She did but this time audition for JYP. She passed and began training.
