James's P.O.V

"Why the hell is this game so bad!" Bennett shouted as his character died

I laughed quietly to naked and hook my head.
"It's because you are playing it wrong, idiot." I replied, grabbing another controller

I pressed play and easily completed the level in 2 minutes straight. I dropped the controller and sat back feeling like a boss. I looked at Bennett and saw him gaping at the TV screen.

Several minute went by before I got bored and began walking out of his room.
"Wait!" I heard him say

I paused at the door and huffed, turned around and shoved a hand trough my hair.
"What Bennett?" I asked

"How the flip cakes did you do that! Ninja kicks and spins? Teach me please! I have even stuck in that level for weeks!" He pleaded

"Bennett, this is level 1. How am I supposed to teach a 13 year old how to play a video game when he can't make it past the first level?!" I exclaimed

He just put his headphones in and began talking to his new internet friends, finally letting me go to the comforts of my room.

Let me tell you who the hell Bennett is. He is my younger brother that lives with me and my sister in a rather large house in the town. He is 13 and flipping annoying and prefers reading than watching TV.

Now onto my life....

I'm a what you call "rich boy" who is kept safe and sheltered by my all loving older sister.

Her name is Riley and she is 20. A professional writer and plans on letting us move to LA after I graduate, which is fairly soon.

I hate her though, she's so stuck up and....abusive. Has a few anger problems and is rather strict around the house. One thing out of place and you sleep on the street.

As I sat on my beanbag near my wardrobe, I heard the door violently slam shut. I winced but puffed my chest out and waited.

If she stepped foot into Bennett's room and hurt him again....I swear.

"James?" She said, sweetly

I looked up at the door and smiled, forcefully

"Yeah, Riley?" I replied

"I'm going to order a pizza, any suggestions?" She asked, picking at her nails

"Just pepperoni for me, thanks." I stated, turning away from her

I heard Riley sigh and shuffle towards me. These were the moments I enjoyed, the ones where she didn't feel so high and mighty and I felt a little more in charge.

"Listen, about yesterday. I'm sorry, James, I had just come home from a stressful work day and.." she started

"That didn't give you the right to do anything to Bennett!" I interrupted, standing up an walking towards her

She shook but looked me dead in the eye. Then she slapped me.

"Don't you ever talk down to me! I'm the boss! Mum and Dad left me in charge!" She screamed, but I could hear the sadness in her voice.

I stood facing away from her. She used to be so nice. Loving and caring.
"Just go away, Riley." I said, softly

She looked down and nodded.
"Okay." she replied, and walked out

I took a deep breath and laid down in my bed. My thoughts were overwhelming and my heart was thumping.

I don't want to be here anymore.

I picked my phone up and dialled Hunter's phone. After a few rings, he picked up.

"Hey! What's up?" He answered

"Is there a party on?" I asked

:::::
So....much.....tension!!!

I love this chapter! Bennett and James's relationship is like mine and my brother. I'm the bad one at video games....
