Previously: Before the blade came into contact with my light brown skin- I woke up, screaming...
I gripped my shirt tightly, frantically trying to calm myself down and figure out what just happened.
"W-wha... w-where was... am I..." I ran the scene I just witnessed through my head. I remembered what my legs looked like. They looked human again. I quickly kick off the blanket on top of me and let out a deep sigh. My legs were in fact not human. The consistency of my skin color was gone and as per usual, the skin around the middle of my calf faded from my natural light, mocha brown skin color to a darker, chocolate brown. My feet were no longer short and small like a human's foot. It was longer and larger, similar to a rabbit's foot.
I ran my fingers through my long, curly, mint-green hair and closed my eyes. "Nightmare... it was just another nightmare..." I mumble to myself. I take a deep breath before slowly opening my eyes and looking around. I was sitting in my large bed, in the middle of the room. The walls were a nice lilac color. I looked over at the window. It was one if those windows that you could sit at. There were 2 bookshelves on either side if the window. To the left there was a desk sitting near a large window with my laptop sitting closed. The top of the laptop had been decorated by yours truly.
I slipped out of bed and stepped on the fuzzy carpeted floor. I looked at my bedside table and read the clock "11:25... that's the earliest I've woken up this week.." I mutter before walking over to my walk-in closet. I got changed into something comfortable but nice.
I sigh before going to sit at my window and starting to read my favorite book as I waited for everyone else to come into my room and ask why I was screaming...
