14. Alchemy?

Silent.....

For two minutes straight.

Two pairs of eyes looked at each other. The pair of emerald clear eyes looked at the other party confusedly. While at the other party, deep black eyes stared at them without any emotion. But if you look at it closely, you can see the tender and affection deep inside it.

Feeling that the air turned a bit too awkward, Shen Qingwei coolly shifted his gaze to the pink panda which was hugged by his beloved fair-skinned delicate arm and broke the awkwardness with his cold deep voice. “Oh? A new pet?”.

Hearing Shen Qingwei asking him without his usual gentleness, Bai Yuyan returned to his senses and hurriedly answered him. “Ah!.. Yes! This is my new pet!”. He hastily urges the pink panda in his arm for its name.

The pink panda who hasn't been given a name by his master, received his master’s panicked gaze and quickly made up his name. “Yes, yes, yes!. I’m my master's new pet! My name is Xiao Na, NICE TO MEET YOU!”. Xiao Na bows it round fluffy head hardly until the pink ribbon on its head bounced off. Only raised its head after Shen Qingwei spoke coldly, “en, good to see you”.

After that, he placed the excited Qi Ai on Bai Yuyan’s bed. He gazed at the foolish expression on the cute boy who had just come out of the bathroom with Xiao Na, took the towel on the hanger next to the closet, and walked toward the stunned fool.

Shen Qingwei. “Well?. Sorry for intruding, I just want to ask you what you would like for dinner, but Xiao Qiqi says that you’re in the bathroom having a bath. So I wait here. though, I don’t expect that you will bathe with your new pet”.

Bai Yuyan touched his noses, felt anxious but at the same time guilty. Truthfully, he doesn’t want to lie to his golden thigh and benefactor, but he still didn’t trust Shen Qingwei.

The always gentle and tender man in front of him can turn to this cold and indifferent man like now just because he had a secret. With this attitude, he can’t trust him for now.

He knows that people need time to trust someone that they just meet, and he also needs some time to trust this man. The other party also needs time to trust him. It's just about trust and time.

He calmed his nerves and schooled his expressions and mood. He nodded at Shen Qingwei and smiled calmly. “ Yes, it's fine. I hope you didn’t wait for too long. Hurry! Sit down wherever you want”. He took the towel and flung it around his neck while urging Shen Qingwei to sit down.

He(QW)sits on the sofa, while he(BY) sits on his bed. They sit opposite each other calmly. Without any suspicion, they started to build their trust.

It's not like Shen Qingwei didn’t trust the pure boy who had melted his frozen heart, he just didn’t like someone who lies under his nose.

When he saw that Bai Yuyan felt guilty but remained calm, unlike his usual self, he immediately knew that his(BY) secret was really important to him.

He couldn’t bear seeing this cute boy anxiously glancing at his pet for help. But not until the boy regained his calm. This boy still calms even when he looks at him coldly. Even though he really can bear to act cold to his beloved, he still tried his best not to pats the boy's soft long hair.

Although this too pure-to-stupid boy won't see the tender and affection in his deep eyes, he can bear it for a while. But in the future he would let this boy see it clearly.

Bai Yuyan started to tell half of his secret to the only person he can share his burden and happiness with. Despite only half of his secret that he told Shen Qingwei, it's still the trust that they built together. Slowly, their trust would get stronger and stronger.
