She felt a hand caressing on her cheeks--warm, soft and tender. Despite the consciousness leaving her, she tried to fight it off.

'Dijun.' She slowly opened her eyes. There was only a bright light.

'He won't come. He won't come.' Her mind told her. But, her heart was telling her, 'He's there. Beside you.'

Fear grapples her heart as she turned to look at the person beside her. Clad in his purple robe, the First Heavenly Emperor  draw a smile towards her and turned her to face him.

"Why are you here? Am I dreaming?" She asked. Fear started to creep towards her mind as if the man she had been longing would vanish.

Dijun smiled again, caressing her face and pushed back a stray hair on her face.

"Are you very scared?" He asked her, still his hands wouldn't stop caressing her face to brush off any fear that she was feeling.

In response, she nodded her head. Tears started to form in her eyes as she looked at him.

"Don't be afraid." He assured her. His eyes locked into hers.

Her throat constricted at the words he uttered. And when he said, "I'm here.", tears started to stream down her face.

Her heart was relieved.

Bai Fengjiu was strolling Via Monte Napoleone after a long and tiring day from her work. She was hoping to catch a present for her aunt, Bai Qian who would be celebrating her birthday three days from now. She frowned at the thought of leaving Milan to go home. She loved the place as it gave her freedom from the clutches of her family and the world itself.

Fengjiu was hailed from the Bai Family, one of the oldest and richest family in Shanghai. While her family strive in various businesses, Fengjiu opted to pursue her love of architecture after she finished an MBA. It was a hard discussion for her and her family to take another course but her aunt and uncle Bai Zhen supported her passion. They stood beside her as they reasoned out that she already attained the MBA her father and grandfather always wanted. She asked that she be given three years to pursue what she love the most of which they agreed. And no sooner than that, three years had come to pass. She felt no regret with the decisions she made.

She sighed as she recalled her days in Milan are coming to an end

She sighed as she recalled her days in Milan are coming to an end. Fengjiu looked ahead and saw the green lights are blinking and started to cross the streets.

Everything was a blur. She heard the screeching tires and the shouts of the people as she felt a hand grabbing her by the waist. She stumbled and fell.

"Are you out of your mind?" An angry voice bellowed at her. It didn't occur to her what just happened.

Slowly, she turned to the man behind her. His face was red in anger or fear. That, she didn't know. For a moment she lost her voice to speak and her eyes landed on his face.
