It's been less than a week since Kei's teacher told him about the cafe. He was too busy and couldn't afford to take a day off just to go see cute kittens running around the place and drink his favorite coffee, not even if he really wanted. Kei would lie if he said, he didn't think of visiting the cafe. He did, pretty often actually, the blond didn't get the chance to carefully look around the place and hoped he'll, sooner or later. It was Saturday five days after he found out about the cafe, his essay still didn't contain a word, he was helpless, thinking that writing the article outside his house would be a somehow good idea. Maybe some inspiration would just come into his mind, who knows. Kei walked into his closet looking around to find some clothes to wear, the first thing he grabbed was oversized purple shirt with v neck, black cardigan and some jet black jeans. He put his grey laptop inside his bag together with some papers and a pencil case, also putting on his only coat and the same high black boots he always wears. Kei grabbed his bag, wallet and keys locking the apartment door behind him. The sweet old couple was there again, coming back home after a long walk, Kei greeted them with a sleepless smile and made his way to the cafe. The outside was really pretty, it wasn't snowing this time but there were small rain drops falling onto the piles of snow that were left after days of snowing on the ground. Kei again, plugged in his earphones this time not listening to his favorite song but song from Katy Perry> Part of me, pushing his glasses up with his middle finger softly humming to the song. The blond was looking around like the cars and busses passed by him, some stopping 'cause of the red light other calmly driving on the green light. He passed by a smaller park, there was not much people since the weather was slightly colder day by day. Kei's body turned right for he last time before he saw the cute cafe sign in front of him.
Entering the cafe the bell above the blonde rang signaling that another costumer came inside, the sound of the bell caught kittens attention registering Kei's presence. Kei felt something rubbing against his leg, looking down he noticed more coloured kitty cat. He crunched down to the cats level to pet her, which was a gesture the cat gladly accepted, purring into Kei's hand. Chuckling he heard a voice calling and welcoming him inside. "HI! Welcome, please take a seat and i'll be right-" The pretty voice the blond though of as really pleasant, stopped in the middle of the sentence making Kei look up. His golden brown eyes met the others, green maybe even brownish ones. 'He's actually really, cute...' Kei thought as his eyes traced all over the boy, scanning him, he noticed the almost invisible freckles on his face, the one hair strand that was slightly out of it's place and the little pinkish colour on his cheeks. The boy was wearing work apron but underneath that he had white shirt with two buttons opened and black ripped jeans, he had some adorable jewellery on his wrist and a necklace with a little diamond heart on it. "i'll just have a creamed dark late, no sugar please." Kei said slightly smirking when he saw the other boy's cheeks get more pink as he spoke. The green/brown haired boy nodded even tho Kei's back was facing him and he couldn't see him. The blond sat in the nearest corner of the cafe, unpacking his laptop and opening texting documents, sometimes he glanced at the boy who was at the counter making his coffee, smiling to himself. Kei found the way green/brown haired boy focused on his work pretty entertaining, he for some reason, enjoyed watching him. He shook his head snapping out of the trance, 'Stop watching him, it's weird.' He said to himself as his fingers traced around the keyboard. Still, he couldn't write a thing, there was nothing, no inspiration- "Um, h-hi.. here's your o-order sir-" The boy stuttered out handing Kei his coffee. The boy put the coffee on the table his eyes never leaving Kei's before taking his leave. "It's Tsukkishima not sir." Blond said before he could stop himself from opening that bloody mouth of his, the boy turned back around, his eyes widen but a bright smile formed on his lips, Kei found this smile really charming.. "Yamaguchi." The green haired boy said pointing at his name tag which had his full name on it. Tadashi Yamaguchi. Kei was sure he won't forget a name of a cute boy like that. He smiled, looking at the coffee Tadashi brought him. "L-let me know how you like it." Tadashi said fidgeting with his fingers before slowly walking away, asking other tables if he could do anything for them, 'Oh right, there's other people too.' Kei looked around, there was not much people around him, on the table next to him were two guys both brown haired and he believed one had a nickname Iwa-chan since the other one was calling him that every time he spoke. The other tables were mostly pairs, at one there was guy with spiked up red hair throwing his hands into the air almost all the time, the other one was mostly just listening to the red head sometimes laughing at his stupidness. At another table there were two girls one with yellow hair and one with black hair and pink glasses. At the sight Kei pushed his own glasses up with his middle finger as a habit, again looking into his laptop, his one hand reached for the coffee, he smelled it first. 'Smells amazing..' Then he took a very careful sip since the coffee was still really hot. Kei smiled and took another sip, it really tasted as good as it smelled. The blond could tell Tadashi really enjoyed the work and knew how to do a proper coffee, not like Kei. After many little sips, he put the almost drank coffee down, again tracing his fingers on the keyboard. But still nothing, he felt more relaxed thanks to the awesome coffee but no ideas. "Um.. Need some help?" It was the same sweet voice he heard like 10 minutes ago, Kei looked up smiling as he made eye contact with the same green-brownish eyes. He chuckled resting his back on the chair, nodding. "I have to make an essay due Monday and i can't write a word." Tadashi made an over dramatic gasp, but giggled right after that. "Can i?" He pointed at a seat next to Kei and the blond nodded feeling a little nervous with Tadashi close to him. "I'm not that good at essays, but maybe i can help a bit." He smiled wholesomely, making every dark and negative thoughts inside Kei's head light up and eventually disappear. "So, what's the topic?" The boy asked cutely looking into the blonds eyes. "We don't have one, this time. Teacher told us to write about some lovely experience or something." Kei finished talking and rolled his eyes, going through his messy hair with his hands messing them up even more. Tadashi's eyes never left Kei, the same the blond did before, he watched him carefully, wanting to notice any unusual detail of him. Without realising the green haired boy stared at him for god knows how long, Kei sighed his fingers still in his hair waiting for some kind of idea to come up in his mind. "U-um how about you write about your l-love life.. or something." Tadashi said, to the blond it looked like he tried to come up with very usual topic for writing books or essays, but Tadashi just wanted to find out if the boy had girlfriend/boyfriend/lover> (for my non-binary fellas) without directly asking him. A smart thing to do. Kei chuckled, hands leaving his blond locks taking a clearer look at the other boy, who just sit there patiently, waiting for his answer. "I don't have anything called love life.. Yamaguchi." He watched Tadashi's face turn pink as soon as he said his name, the boy bit his lip trying to restrain the smile he was hiding. The two of them just blindly stared at each other, Kei noticed how Tadashi's freckles got more visible as he got closer look, he noticed his pretty long eyelashes and he could swear he even saw an soft eyeliner drawn on both Tadashi's eye lids. The green haired boy was doing the same, scanning blonds features, noticing the unusually clean and pale skin, his bit thicker lips, the golden-brown eyes of his. Non of them could look away until a bell above the door suddenly rang and with it came voice too loud for Kei's liking. "TADASHIII~~" Green haired boy looked at the person who shouted his name, smiled widely and ran up to them. Kei with slight annoyance in his stare, glared at the boy hugging Tadashi, whispering something into his ear that made the boy blush. It was a really short guy with orange hair who shouted Tadashi's name, next to him stood for sure taller guy not as tall as Kei but taller than the other boy and Tadashi, he had black hair and for sure didn't look as friendly as the other one. Green haired boy blushed more pointing at Kei as he said something to those two, they nodded and with that they walked towards the blond.
