Chapter 5:  Maybe Kat’s should talk not Barrys 

“He passed it” I said to Cisco as I looked at the map. He sighed.

“Barry! Barry!” He yelled into the head set as he walked back into the room with a lollypop of course.

“What did I miss it?” he asked and I rolled my eyes.

“6 blocks honey,” I said as  Cisco sat down beside me.

“My bad,” he said and I watched on the map as he ran back.

“You there yet?” Cisco asked handing me a lollypop which  I took.

“What are you doing?” I heard Caitlin say and I turned of the computers like Cisco did.

“Nothing,” we both said turning around to face her.

“Who are you talking to,” she asked stepping forward.

‘Man this girl can be intimidating,’ I thought as she took another step forward.

“No one,” Cisco and I both said yet again in unison.

“Are you talking to Barry?” she asked, I was getting kind of nervous.

“Who?” Cisco and I both said yet again in unison. ‘Man we got stop that,’

“Barry Allen,” she said. ‘Yep we’re screwed’ “Struck by lightning stuck in a coma for 9 months. Your friend since grade school. Woke up being able to run faster than the speed of sound? Ring a bell,”

“No,” both our voices we’re mumbled because we both had a lollypop in our mouths.  “Haven’t talked to him,”

“Cisco, Kat, there’s fire everywhere,” I heard Barry yell. ‘Man you have terrible timing Barry Allen,’ “Cisco, Kat are you guys still there?”

Caitlin was giving both Cisco and me a really long glare. It kind of replicated Olivier’s glare when I found out he was the Arrow.

“Everybody’s out,” Barry said, “What else you got for me you two?”

Caitlin then stepped towards the mic.

“Barry, it’s Caitlin,” She said and both Cisco and I looked at each other worried.

“Hey, Caitlin,” Barry said in a nervous voice.  “How’s your day?”

“Get back to Star Labs. Now!” She sounded pissed.  She turned to Cisco and I, I stood up and walked away pretending to do something.

“On my way,” I heard him say.

“Kat, sit,” I heard Caitlin say and I sat back down awkwardly.

Barry then came into the labs, and we weren’t sitting anymore we were following Caitlin.

“Have you three lost your minds? Who do you think you are?” she started her rant.

“Well, I’m the eyes and ears, he’s the feet and Kat’s a mixture of both,” Cisco explained and I nodded standing next to Barry.

“This isn’t funny,” she said. Okay she sounded pissed but concerned. “You could have gotten yourself killed,” and there’s the concern. “You can’t be running around the city like some supersonic fireman. “

“Why not? This is what we talked about using my speed to do good,” Barry said trying to explain to Caitlin.

“We talked about you and you,” she turned to me and then back to Barry, “Helping us contain other people who might have been affected, by the particle accelerator explosion… Meta-Humans. And aside from Clyde Mardon we haven’t found any”
