ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴏɴᴇ: ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ᴇɴᴄᴏᴜɴᴛᴇʀ

I Woke up with the sun shining on my face. I rolled down my bed and laid on the floor of my messy room when the door suddenly opened.

"Y/n you received some mail, And please get up on the floor and eat breakfast before it gets cold" Natasha, my roommate, said as she leaves my room.

I lazily got up and went to shower. After that, I changed into some decent clothes.
I brushed my H/C hair and chose not to wear make up.

You see, I don't wear make up unless there's a an important event like a wedding.

I went out of my room and saw Natasha watching TV.

"Hey Nat?"

"Hm?"

"I'm going to work today so can you cook dinner later? Please?" I said while walking up to her to sit beside her.

"Fine fine. But you have to visit my school later. My friends want meet you." she said while changing the channel of the TV.

Natasha is like my big sister ever since I moved out of my aunts place, she was like my sister ever since.

"I'm gonna get going now." I said as I stood up and walked towards the door.

"Don't forget your bag, dumbass" she said.

"Okay mom" I teased, laughing a little.

I went out of the door and went to the Cafe I'm working at.

Being a working student can be stressful especially when you're on your First year of highschool. Luckily for me, there's still a week before school starts.

I was heading to the train station when I bumped into a burgundy haired guy who, I think, in the same age as mine.

"Sorry" he said and gave me a small smile.

I nodded and smiled back while getting in the train.

When I arrived at the shop, I saw Yumiko. You know this mean girl in movies who bullies everyone? Well yumiko is a real life version of her.

I walked pass her, ignoring her evil grin.

I went straight up to the counter and wore my name tag which had "Y/N" embedded on it.

I put on my brightest smile and waited for customers to walk in. After waiting for some time, a girl went inside the cafe.

I observed her outfit and could tell that she was a young "Karen".

"One Coffee " she said while scrolling through her phone.

"Coming right up! Anything else?" I asked politely.

"Did I say something else?" She said rudely.

I just mentally scoffed as I watched her walk away.

I got a cup and poured some freshly brewed coffee.

I walked up to her but I accidentally tripped and spilled some Coffee on her.

"THE HELL?!" She yelled, her mad eyes piercing through me.

"I'm so sorry Ma'am" I said as I quickly grabbed some tissues, panicking.

"This outfit cost more than your salary! Call your manager!" She spat angrily.

I nodded as I quickly call my manager and they began their discussion

As the talk between her and the Cafe's Manager continued I couldn't help but over think things like how I would get fired and how I wouldn't have enough money to pay rent and how I would be homeless

But my train of thought was broken when the girl walked out of the cafe

I looked at my manager and spoke

"How was it sir?'' I somehow asked calmly even though my heart was racing

"She wants you fired." He say with a worried look

"And are you going to fire me?"

"I have too. She threatened me that if I didn't she would have the cafe shut down.."

I stood there and nodded silently

"Well thanks for doing your job sir." I gave him a sweet smile

I got my bag behind the counter and gave him my name tag

As I exited the cafe, I sighed

Time to find a new job

I began walking around and asked some local shops if they needed help but no one was hiring.

I pass a school and saw the burgundy haired guy who I bumped into talking to a girl who had black hair and orange tips.

Hm probably his girlfriend.

I observed the school's exterior and walked closer to the gate.

I noticed that the gate had a large K in gold on it, I kept on observing when I felt a tap on my shoulder

The burgundy haired guy.

"It's you! The girl who I bumped into" he says pointing at me

"It's rude to point" I say as he quickly put his hand behind his back and blushed

"Well if you have anything to say, say it now I'm quite busy" I say as I cross my arms

"Are you attending here?" He asks while looking at the school

"Nope, the school's tuition probably not in my budget" I say

"That's a bummer but I gotta go, hope to see you one day again?"

"Same to you too'' I say as I gave him a small smile

I began to walk away but then I got a call. I check the caller ID and it was Nat

"Hello?"

"Are you headed to the school now?" she asks

"Uhh I'm about too"

"Good Because my friends are almost here"

"See you there"

I ended the call and walked to the train station

I got on a train and looked around the train for a seat

I then noticed a girl being silently Bothered by the guy beside her

I quickly walked up to her and began to act

"Hey girl, your boyfriend is waiting for you let's go?" I hand her my hand hoping she would catch on with the act

"And who are you?" The guy asks grumpily

"I'm her Best friend" I say as I felt the Girl take my hand and walked to the other side of the train

When we were out of the guy's sight line
I asked

"Are you okay?"

She nods

"How about you stay with me for the whole train ride?"

"T-thank you" she stutters
